This one retains the dialogue for all those in the video. Tell me if you guys want it in or not
I haven't decided whether I want to give him MAX or CC yet. This is the previous version to the one I am currently working on(basically exclusion of ex mode)

Some things to note..
Most normal/command normals are the same(many need fixing). They are as listed..
F+HP
B+HP
F+MP
F+MK(This is basically the new input lol)
D+HP(Air)

Both supers have MAX versions(for now stungun is only damg buff)
Also I haven't done the cancels yet, but next time lol
B+HP is lowkey kinda useless right now, but it'll be extremely viable with the cancels
I don't feel as though I've made him too op, but more viable than ever.

What's missing?
-Cleaning(This includes all maintenance)
-His reverse moves(backdrop etc) does anyone care enough about this?
-Ex mode
-Special intro Vs. Ryu/Gill
-Victory quotes Vs. everyone
-A font for the other lvl3 that I never picked a name for(honestly whoever makes the font for it can call it whatever they want)
-A new lvl3 port(Because I like having two lol)
-The dodge attacks(I realized I didn't change it in this version)

Sweet! Thanks for sharing bud. Me personally i really like the dialogue that was in the video spices things up. Can't wait to bust out arcade mode now.

Ran Into 2 "issues" while playing Alex.
1. He can superjump cancel the 1st hit of his crouching Hp. This allows him to chain air normal afterwards(similar to mvc)
2. I cant seem to be able to do is normal throws(Dont know if they are coded yet or maybe I overlooked something)

Also as far as Alex Having his reverse moves I think that is what makes him unique as a grappler. It also rewards the player with more damage if they manage to land a Hp slash on the opponent. Ultimately it's your decision and this is just my 2 cents though.

Overall im impressed with what you have here so far I can't wait to see what the completed character will play like.

Nice little update. The bestie was itching for one. Was complaining on how the D.D.T. Special wasn't included. All bs aside. Good to see you back on it bro. Is there a way to disable the dialogue? if you dont mind me asking.

- EX Power Bomb gives back meter

Well.. This is an older version I shared, but lets see
-Nope (I just assume for people to figure it out) This isn't in any context so take it as you may. At some point. I also went to the trouble of making a showcase video.

-This is a custom character, also I use different life values for my game my mistake, also this is something you can easily change manually at your discretion, even if you feel you shouldn't have to you.
-That was some explanation? I mean does he really? As in he'd be useless without it? His spiral DDT for example is essential. I'll use this to explain. The main reason is.. The original creator does not have all of Alex's sprites so I used what I had. This is why he doesn't have all the original normals.

Thanks for taking the time to do this though I wish it were more in-depth.

- Ducking LP and Ducking MP are not the same.  One is a jab and one is a chop.  And, even if the animations uses the same sprites, the fact that they are different strengths means it should be different damage.
- I just feel that since it does the damage that it does, and dizzies the opponent, and that it is unblockable, makes it too powerful.
- For his reverse moves, I felt kersinkid already explained it.
Also as far as Alex Having his reverse moves I think that is what makes him unique as a grappler. It also rewards the player with more damage if they manage to land a Hp slash on the opponent.
But, if you don't have the sprites, then I guess you can't do it.

-I may have missed it. LK/MK for example share the same command is what I meant though.
-I know what you mean, but as it says in the description that's just what I had it for now. Eventually I had planned to make the move work a bit differently for level 2. Even still though it's not the easiest move to land & using two bars you can only do so much afterwards to follow up, but as I said I use life over 1000 so it doesn't have as much as an impact.
-I had asked originally because I wanted to hear from an actual Alex player. I'll see what I can do.


Also the Alex port up there. I could use that for victory quotes. Do as many as you'd like for any of the characters we have

Besides the previously mentioned feedback, you can crouch during Level 2 Boomerang Raid after the 7th or so hit to cancel it.
