Greetings.

I´m working in my personal game, the screenpack is almost ready, I´m is it in my plans to share it soon. I took some ideas from my favorite Mugen: Capcom vs SNK W 2.8, here you are some pictures, I hope you like it:



















I´m trying to make something vivid, like CVS2, KOF 97, KOF98Um and KOF XII, a tournament which is a world event. I will share the screenpack with all my material: Power Point, Camtasia archives, fonts and more, so, in that way you will be able to edit it as your wish. I´m still working in more details but I think that it would be ready soon.

Zero what? This is a screenpack not a full game. Neither is it a compilation. You can add Zero yourself.

This screenpack looks very good! Although I'm used to seeing more bright colors like CvS1/CvS2, this one is good too, almost like a winter season skin. I like your work, and Rednavi would be proud to know you were inspired off him.

I think I will be using this. If you are considering doing a "Classic CvS2" reskinned theme for this exact same screenpack, it would be pretty good. What I mean by reskin is not changing the core of this screenpack, but just changing some colors and the background to something more like the classic CvS2 would look like. Does this screenpack use custom character select screen portraits?

Hello.

First of all, thank you for your kindness, I really apreciatte that.

Let me explain some things about the chars and the portraits:

All the screen portraits goes in the System.sff:







All you have to do is decide in wich part of the screen you want to see your character, change the portrait and search in the select.def where is located the char/portrait that you erase:



In the example we have Jill, so change Jill´s portrait a then search her location in the Select.def file and add your char there.

Here it is other example with the templates:

In the Power Point file you could change the colors for the Midd/Final bosses.

And the message of the top? Is already in the sff. file:



These are some examples of what are you going to have.

What is missing? What Am I already working on?:

- Game over screen
- Continue screen
- Ending credits
- Logo/Now loading screen

I love the appearance of this project!

Even if I always feel frustrated when the screenpack use custom portraits.
sure it freaking looks goog, but I always feel like if I need to add more extra charcter in the future, it would be a pain in the ass ^^;

Akito released a CVS themed screenpack in the past, and the fact he gave some normal version portrait alternative make it very appealing to me.
And I decided to use it. This is my main CVS/POTS sp right now. ^^

I'll keep an eye in your sp project because it looks awesome!

Thank you for your words. And indeed, you´r right, I think that there are a few slots if we compare this screenpack with others, maybe if we edit some portraits we chan add extra/hidden characters in this location:

From your stages I am going to assume you are using 1.1 and from the sreenshot I can tell that the small ports are indexed which is not necessary on 1.1 you're just losing quality.

Cool screenpack too black and red always go together well.

This SP takes me back to CVSW actually, the character select screen is exactly the same style. That was a fullgame that used warusaki3's characters.
Cool, but if i where you, i'll change the character select screen a little.

It is actually a good advice, to try to bring something original. Maybe in the future I´ll do a personal design in the screen select for this screenpack.

I´m still working on more designs, for the Winner Screen this could be another option if you don´t want to edit so many images using "Capcom", "SNK", "SF",KOF" Texts:



This is just a test, but could be interesting for a second option. But in the folder I´ll keep the previous desing.

Greetings.

I´ve been working in some updates for my screenpack, here you have some pictures:

Now, the intro has animation in the back and fire in the air, the timing of the final sound is already changed:


More characters out of the screen:


Some changes in the desing:




Maybe I´ll keep only this version of the Winner Screen.

Right now is only missing the lifebar and maybe some details. I hope to upload this updated soon with the templates.
