Oh! Nice!
Happy birthday, buddy!!
And thanks for this beta. I was really curious to see how you upgraded her.
I'll look for the frankensprites (I like to see how people create new moves this way)
Time to test.

EDIT : what a great beta!
Very "messy" feedback

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

-There some debug flood (but I'm definitly not the specialist here)

-Would you consider a Japanese voice version? perhaps later.

And here's what I have to offer for feedback:

- Jump Land animation should be a lot shorter because she takes too long to recover unless you crouch instead.
- Fear Void destroys Helpers but not actual Projectiles.
- EX Fear Void comes out in the air when P2 is mid-air.

- Fear Void and Raging Gnome's Blade(s) could do with slightly wider hitboxes becuase you currently have to be a bit too precise with the positioning.
- Fires of Insanity doesn't come out when mashing LP on the spot. It'd also suggest making it possible from crouch normals.
- Fires of Insanity itself could use a rework. Good changes would be not having her move forward and making the swing animation faster. It'd suggest looking at Jmorphman's Chun-Li or Joe for a good mashing reference (It may be confusing due to the EXPLODsive Buffering but still).
- Ivy Lick could do with a larger, slightly lower hitbox at the start of the blade so it has better use up-close.
- Serpent's Embrace would be cooler if the anim was faster with more swings.
- Guilty Throne could do with a lot less startup, more startup invincibility/NotHitBy and more recovery after the last lighting hit (A taunt anim could work wonders).

Seems like this gal has potential at this point, but I feel like she just needs a couple more specials and supers with increased usability for what she currently has. Happy B'Day btw, here's hoping all is good on this fine day.

Thank you both for the feedback @Momotaro and @ RagingRowen
I've adressed quite a lot of your points with more coming later.

@RagingRowen, what "attr =" to I exactly use to collide with projectiles concerning Fear's Void?

@Momotaro, standing HK is meant as an anti air but also can juggle into Raging Gnome (hence the lesser hitbox on it)

Ivy has been updated so redownload from the first post please :)

<Diek Stiekem's Beta Version 0.6>
- Tweaked frames of standing MK
- Tweaked hitframe of crouching HK
- Fixed Explode effects on EX Fear's Void to display correctly if an opponent is in mid-air
- Added transparanty effects when ground holes disappear after Fear's Void
- Faster startup on Guilty Throne and is now invincible on startup and has a taunt after finishing
- Widened hitboxes on all versions of Fear's Void and Raging Gnome
- Improved hitboxes on all versions of Ivy Lick
- Landing animation is now quicker

@RagingRowen, what "attr =" to I exactly use to collide with projectiles concerning Fear's Void?

You'll probably need something like HitOverride to get that. I'd suggest checking out how other PotS chars handle projectiles.

I should point out some more stuff:
- Fear's Void blades could probably use faster startup.
- EX Ivy Lick still gives power on hit (This is a pretty common mistake with PotS chars and edits).
- A suggestion I have for hitboxes is to not have them 100% align with the attack animation, namely the sword slashes, with an example of this being Fires of Insanity. Another suggestion would be giving them nearby hurtboxes which is what the likes of CvS and KOF do. Far HP will likely benefit from this the most.

I would try to make some customs for extra moves (normals variations, specials...)
But I'm not sure you will use them.

Basically:
-Specials :
Diving Raven (halfmoon falling kick - like Cervantes too)
Her trample kick (can work like Kim's Hakkikyaku - but would do a special trample anim with EX verion on OTG p2)

-Normals
some close knee
low blow "signature" kick (command move)

+ some other moves tweaks... (normals mostly)

I would definitely appreciate some customs.

Diving Raven would give her some versatility for her special moves.
A close knee and/or low blow kick would be nice to add to her normal repertoire as well :)

Start to look even better.
I'll see what I can do about customs ;)

If I can frankensprite = win, otherwise, I think it would be too long.
I'm not worried for normal kicks, but special halfmoon kick have an unusual point of view... I'll check...

In MAX mode, Ivy's sword normal attacks show white boxes. This only happens while in MAX mode.

Big update to Ivy.
I came across a version by Ryanrate77 on "Voldemort Archive", which featured a lot of new Ivy sprites.
I am unsure who made these sprites though as said character lacks a readme file.
The sprite did need a lot of cleaning and I've tried my best to do that the past few weeks.

Anyway, here's the changelog and redownload from the 1st post please :)

<Diek Stiekem's Version 1.0>
- Crouching HP has a new animation.
- Crouching LP now uses HP's old animation
- Crouching MK no longer shares it's animation with LK and has a new one.
- The animation on the "Serpent's Embrace" winpose has been expanded.
- Fires of Insanity has an entire new animation, the old one is now exclusive to Guilty Throne.
- Replaced Serpent's Embrace super with new super Asylum.
- Asylum has a bigger MAX Cancel window than Serpent's Embrace had
- Added new special move Spiral Punishment
- Corrected some/added some hurtboxes on normal attacks

Yes, I tested this other Ivy version too.
This is what make me want to try your characters again.

Awesome news!
I'm trying this updated version! Thanks for the update!

It's been a while since I last checked your chars, and here's some feedback on her because I got curious.

1. The Smoke for Intro 1 clashes with the rest of her FX.
2. Crouch MP could do with a slightly wider hitbox because you have to be right up close to hit with it.
3. As others have noted, the AI will use Stand HK on repeat from medium range if the opponent idles.
4. The MAX Mode FX issue occurs because the explods lack ownpal = 1.
5. Spiral Punishment could use more hits for the blade spin at the start because the current hits made the move look rather awkward.

About the Blades lacking hitsparks, you can add them by adding a Hitspark State to their Statedefs.
Look in other PotS chars for something like this and that's what'll help bring the goods:
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

I might've said this before but I didn't make any criticism on the animations because there isn't a whole lot you can do with them.
Funny stuff aside, good progress has been made.
