Well, if you want to ask me, you got yourself some CPS-2-like proportions here (you know, SFA stuff). Hell, maybe with proper palette he'll even look the part good. Looks pretty good, BTW, but I think you need some darker picels to emphacise his press (stomache muscles?) on the viewer's right.
The Takuma is alright yes, but I do think that the first 2 versions are a lot better in regards to the shading and design. My suggestions, please reference your CvS Takuma sprite sheet more closely with what you can, I feel that would help bring in cleaner results as well as bring it closer to that CvS Style if your aiming towards that, but if your also trying to do your own thing that is fine as well
At this rate i would want to try an attempt by editing my cvsTakuma sff, may be i will have more luck. Also i want to repost this Takuma stance from kof95 because i think this was the best stance conversion i ever did -
That looks really good but his feet aren't quite aligned with his legs. Most noticeably his right one (our left).

Jhun hoon from kof99 stance attempt - original my edit what i have done - palette colors shading dropped from 5 to 3 shades for skin and clothes and hair as well, ratio of shoes and face increased.

Eureka guys! i'm quite sure I found a new fast and easy method to convert snk sprites in cvs/capcom style- here is krauser stance from kof98 I changed the palette shading by simplyfing the colors gradations and by reducing the contrast, hence i increased a bit ratio in feet and face as well this is result snk cvs/capcom

It can also scale sprites without blurry stuff or big pixels.BUT you have to work manually after it.I personnally don't focus on character s who have already a good CVS spriteset (usually by Dampir)I think other characters need it : Jhun Hoon, Hwa Jai, Hinako... I wish such characters can look as CVS as Kim Kaphwan, Joe, Athena...

Initially, Jhun Hoon kof sprites are made with Kim's sprites.So, I think CVS Jhun Hoon should be as close as Kim's sprites (in term of style etc...)

It would be cool to see the Real Bout Special sprite get this love. That Krauser looks beefy and badass.
It seems passable, but the armor is currently rather unpleasant with just 2 colours, but I think it would be improved if you add some sort of outline to it which I think is the most jarring omission.

Id try and reference other cvs art, Dampir's Krauser, or this art from LuisChamat
This last looks very good, he looks to combine real bout version and kof sprite, i did something similar by editing some dampir sprites.little edit to the pants shading -
You're really not going to make it feel like a CvS sprite through palette changes alone. You'll have to reshade his entire body in order for it to feel legit. Right now this just looks like a compressed KOF sprite.
That needs so much work that I don't even know where to start.Maybe you should make the proportions look better at the least; make his legs longer or something?
Some things I noticed:Krauser could use some extra detail in the muscles. and Mr Big could use some extra detailing in his coatotherwise they look quite decent. I really dig Kensou and Takuma
The sprites are good, I just think they could use more in between colors for a smoother shading, and the palettes also could be better. Other than that, good job!

if you want to do a CVS style sprite, that's not really the way to go, I have to learn that CVS style has a different lightning, anatomy and colors from the KOF sprites, so trace and reshade them its not really a good CVS conversion.
