Hello Mugeners!

I want to ask for your help.
I try to change the portrait for Linne, because looks too small.
The character info:
author = Websta
localcoord = 420

I find this sprite 1280X713, looks very cool and try to crop it to make a new portrait.  :)

After a lot I find the right size could be: 156X182 pixels.

But when I upload the image the portrait looks very low res, but is very strange because is a very long image, I assume the big image does not lose resolution when becomes smaller but... I was wrong. Add capture:
  --;

I make a mistake?
Can I add a bigger image and reduce the size of the 9000 1 in the .CNS to don't lose the resolution?
Thanks for your help!

Because the character is using localcoord (~76%), you will lose quality in the scaling process.  There are some ways to mitigate this, but it requires Mugen 1.1 in OpenGL mode and a number of resolution settings.  In short, you use a very high internal resolution (a multiple of the screenpack localcoord) and scale down to your monitor's resolution.  This process does not produce perfect quality, but it's as good as possible.

Thank you very much for your response!
Sadly this is beyond my power level :???:   but I will try to learn more about this.
