What KOF moves? I consider her pretty complete as is; only things I can think of that aren't there are stuff like, the 96-98 version of Tornado Kick (that dumb upward-angled one), and then minor stuff from the NESTS era like her F+LK overhead and her proximity unblockable (HCF+punch)—which, while cool, kinda seem to be gilding the lily to me. I honestly don't think I'd add them even if they existed in CvS form, since King feels pretty solid to me.
Yup, all of those. I use the cvs sprites, but the game play is geared more towards KOF.I get what you mean how it isn't necessary, I just want KOF in full glory. That tornado kick especially to make the lvl2 Illusion Dance like the source material.Similar to these you could use. Just an example. I dunno if I'd call anybody butchered: I like many of the things Capcom did in adapting the characters, especially the Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting characters, who had some very weird changes over the years in KOF. Capcom often went back to their source, and based their version or aspects of their version on FF or AOF, rather than the KOF version, and I liked that a lot.Like, take Joe's sliding kick as an example: at some point in one of the KOFs, SNK redid the animation from the original one, with his leg fully extended (which is what shows up in CvS, more or less) to the new one where his leg is bent (technically the bent animation is the first, having shown up in Fatal Fury 1, but whatever! They changed it for good reason in KOF and FF3!). I've always been baffled by that change and I never liked the new anim, so I'm glad Capcom went with the original.Or to go back to King, I've always hated that upwards Tornado Kick animation, and I'm glad Capcom ditched it entirely. And heck, even SNK dropped it eventually, starting in 2003, Illusion Dance now ends with the classic Tornado Kick.It's all up to personal taste, of course!
