Sorry, I wasn't there all day, so I couldn't answer your PM.
The sun/eclipse/moon/whatever is indeed much better with the skull in it and BGCtrl makes it smoother.

That's, my frame rate on video. I couldn't get the frame perfect on it.

Hm, I don't seem to notice any abnormal sprite movement, but I'll check it out just in case.
