When my brother died two months ago, my mother mentioned something I consider very wise, even if the death is painful for the ones who remain alive:

People who already fulfilled their mission on earth are called by God, even if they are young. Seems like Reu was one of those.

The dragonboat race was already over, wasn't it? Anyone know what place he made?

I can't believe this actually happened. Reu was probably the most inspiring person in the Mugen community when it came to original characters. Everbody looked up to Dragon Claw as a model character for creators, even though he was slightly unbalanced. Reu was a very talented animator and 3D modeller too. It's such a shame that he died so suddenly this way.

I really hope that even past Reu's death, people continue to remember him for his talent. We should celebrate him for who he was and not just a Mugen creator.

I send my sympathies to Reu's family and all his close friends. I only wish I could be effected by this more than I am now, but not knowing him personally is an unfortunate barrier. At the most, we should all continue to respect him and revere his creations. R. I. P Reu, he's gone to a better place, no doubt.

This is the most beautiful words i`ve read up to now since this thread started Renzo...Your mother is right:
perhaps his deity thought he was too good to stay longer in this side of the road,or that he has already done what he had to...
RIP Reuben...you might be gone, but your legacy on music and mugen communities will live FOREVER
OFF TOPIC:That must have been terrible for you...losing a brother not so long ago...

The thing I regret most is never knowing Reubenkee. I don't know why his death is hitting me so hard, but it feels like i've lost a best friend. Reu, may your spirit forever live on in your creations and your music. :'(

Edit: I'm listening to Shenmue 'Reflections' by Reubenkee right now. So beautiful, it fits in both the name and the 'feeling' of what happened. So much talent... why did it have to end... :'(

I used to really never fight Dragon Claw in my roster due to my pretty bad MUGEN skills at fighting such an aggressive character, but this is too sad. From now on, I am keeping Dragon Claw in a permanent spot in my roster.  :bigcry:

Never heard of the guy, but that was pretty much f***ed up, and i am truly sadded by his early death. But no worries, for those who have fallen asleep in death, you will see them again in the future.  :)

In order to preserve some composure (as death, and any discussion thereof, highly upsets me), I'll keep this brief.  Gone is an inspirational giant, a fellow creator, a friend, a man, and a son (my sincere condolences to his family).  Reu, rest in peace...you've ascended to a far better place.

.......Alright, I'll admit...
...I hate people, but I will also admit that I hate seeing people die even more.
Just know the fact that he's always watching over you guys from the heavens,
and keep the memories of him in your hearts, forever. :wings:

I don't even know this guy, but he seriously did NOT deserve to die, and I'm
already feeling bad for him. :'(

...may he rest in peace. :sad2:

pretty much what this guy says.

To also say, this is the 2nd person I've heard about who had died. A friend
of one of my friends had been killed in an accident as well before.

I've got problems of my own too though. Somebody stolen 3 forums from me
along with creating betrayal of some friends who are now my foes, and I will
never forgive the bastards for this, but seeing deaths THAT close is much worse.
I've lost a very good pet who was only a cockatiel, but was more than 'just
another bird' to me. I know what it feels like when you lose anything to death
that is NOT your enemy, and it's a pain that will never go away...

Losing a animal is bad enough, but losing a human being who you've gotten used
to is the extreme. I can only imagine what his family and friends are going
through about this...

A dream carried out on my own.
