(Extremely sorry if this doesn't belong on the board but I can't find an alternate)

So, I wish to edit Kuando's sprites into a new character (coding, sounds, the works) and am unable to find a way to contact him. (I've looked through each readme for open source but can't seem to find any). If Aiduzzi has retired does this mean I'm shit out of luck or just say fuck it and proceed with the sprite edits?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Usually if you edit a character, it's fair game. But people do expect to be mentioned.
If you do a large enough edit most people will consider it 90% yours.
Some people have become sour when dealing with another person stealing their work. That's usually not the case.

ALL sprite edits are welcome. Post whatever you got here

See if you can DRAW inspiration from that thread. (see what I did there???)

That topic is to expand an existing spritesheet/sprite set.
If you're editing all the sprites (without adding to the original set) then that topic is not the right one.

You may want to start a topic in the Sprite Projects channel, granted that you have at least three animations done.

As for the initial question, like Odb said, there shouldn't be any problem in editing a character. Credit where credit is due.
