I wouldn't be so sure about that, Kojima's been wanting to do new / different things since 2001.

I think he'll be closer to doing something closer to SNATCHER this time around, and if he brought Yoji Shinkawa with him he can do ZOE

He was under a no compete or whatever the equivalent for contractors are. Else I'm sure he would have been in huge contract negotiations.

After Konami's actions as of late, I am shocked that any famous developer/game designer would want to be in the company. Konami took the Worst Video Game Company Award from Electronic Arts and ran with it.
