My character doesn't want to load into the game when I want to start a fight

Every time I want to fight with some other character it takes a few seconds to load and this appears:

Error detected.

Can't find file start.defCan't load shaka.sff

Happens to the best of us. From my experience it's either that the character just isn't compatible or you need to install mugen again and transfer all configs and files over to the new one.

uhm, nooooot really...
the problem is that the folder "shaka" is missing a file called "shaka.sff" inside of it...

my guess for now because of lack of details is you are trying to load a 1.1 char on 1.0 or lower sadly it isn't compatible and will crash while loading.
