My plan for this Full Game is to have a diverse roster featuring characters from every dev Capcom has 'crossover'd' with officially in terms of Fighting Games (Mostly).Gameplay System:4 Buttons(Air) Chain CombosEither Run or Dash (Depends on Sprites)Super JumpsThrowsX-tenders: Standing is a Wall Bounce, Crouching is a Launcher. These take 1/2 a Level.Level 1 and 3 SupersButtons:X = Light PunchY = Heavy PunchA = Light KickB = Heavy KickZ = X-tenderC = ThrowChain Combo Route:X > A > Y > CSuper Inputs:X/Y/A/B = Level 1Z = Level 3Preview of the Combo System (KFM is a template):https://streamable.com/vrg5lyCrossover Companies:MarvelSNKNamcoArika (SF EX/Fighting Layer characters are their property now.)SegaTatsunoko (?)ArcSys (? - They developed Sengoku Basara X for Capcom) Shonen Jump/Shueisha (Related to Jojo)My idea is to have the Crossover side take about 3/5 of the overall roster, and Capcom will take up the other 2/5.In conclusion, Capcom will have the most characters.
I like the concept and that draft of the select screen. But tbh, i got mixed feelings when you talked about "easier super inputs", not a fan of the way MvC deals with supers.
Bumping because I gained interest in this game idea again. First post was updated with Gameplay System Brainstorming.
Other companies that could work:* Nintendo (Project X-Zone, Smash)* Archie (published Worlds Unite)* Konami (Boktai content in Network Timeline games, Smash)* Psikyo (they did a mahjong crossover game)* Inti Creates (Developed a good chunk of Mega Man games)* Microsoft (Smash)* Disney as a whole (Capcom did many Disney games, plus Star Gladiator was almost a Star Wars game. Wreck-it-Ralph, Smash. Also they bought Malibu)* Shonen Jump/Shueisha (The Slam Masters characters are their property now, Capcom also did some games for more obscure manga from them in the arcades, like Area 88 and Tenchi Wo Kurau)* Square-Enix (Smash)* WayForward (Capcom published Shantae 1 on GBC)* Hasbro/Takara (Hasbro did several MVCI toys, plus a 90s SF2 G.I. Joe line. Takara also did SF Transformers and I think a few Rockman items)* Sony (Donte in PSABR, X-Tekken exclusive characters like Cole McGrath)* Sirlin Games (SSF2XHD)I feel like most of these could just have a single fighter each and be lumped into a “Misc” category.

I might just include one or two Nintendo chars and probably include Kenshiro coz of of the Mobile HnK x SF collab at one point.
