y'know what? i watched the videos in the indiegogo page and this doesn't look bad at all.
the gameplay looks fun (it look like it's a mash between skullgirls and blazblue), the character designs are cool and i like the idea of changing the soundtrack based on the player who's attacking.
i may find some enjoyment out of the story too, considering that i used to watch MLP.
I'm going to let god handle you people ✞

IMO what's hurting it is that they've stated there's only 6 characters, with a Stretch Goal 7th.

Also the fact that they're all heroes, they really haven't shown Predators (Antagonists) and ^ implies that those potential characters won't be playable.

Yes, it would be cool to see some villians in the game that we can play. But overall, this game looks even more polished that Fighting is Magic.

What's wrong with animals?
He might not like the idea of having Cartoon styled animals go at it. Especially an MLP FIM styled one. No offense, It's just the internet made it the worst show in the world. All the OCs and there Fanfiction. I've seen the artstyle soooo much it's just dull now. remember, MLP FIM is still MLP, which means its still cheesy as hell. this is just MY opinion, though. to be Fair FNAF is half as annoying.

The game was Greenlit on Steam!  Woo!  To celebrate, the devs are doing a stream that's going live in a few minutes:

 http://www.twitch.tv/manesix

Apparently they'll be showing off some very early footage of Paprika and Oleander's gameplay.

:EDIT:  COWPOOL.

I like Deadmoo better.

I wouldn't trip too hard about the lack of money coming in. Kickstarters generally stall a bit towards the middle of their lifetime and pick up heavily on the last week or so.

The next Book of Lore entry is out, detailing Arizona's backstory.

http://www.mane6.com/2015/10/book-of-lore-chapter-2-the-future-belongs-to-the-young/

Quote
Under a cornflower blue sky, filled with billowing white clouds, an enormous herd of cattle gather across an expanse of tall brown-green grass.  Their noses point to the center of the herd, focused intently.  Their homes, dozens of dusty covered wagons, surround the group. Mumbles of concern and curiosity mix with long, drawn out moos.

Their attention is fixed on a simple, newly constructed stage, the wood still pale and clean. A massive brown bull stands atop it before his herd. His horns are impressively long, sprouting horizontally from his head, their black tips curved forward just at the ends. He wears a heavy, wooden yoke to signify his station. He is the Head Bull, TEXAS. Beside him is a strong, blue-eyed cow, her short coarse coat patched white and tan, his wife, MINNESOTA.

“Gather ‘round friends, I’ve got news from outside our beloved home, The Prairie,” he calls out to the throng of bovines.  “We’ve all heard the tall tale of old, the story of The Horned Prophet, the little lady who locked away our old enemies long ago, keeping us safe to roam the country, looking for sweet grass and golden sunsets just at Mother Fœnum intended for her calves. Welp, I’ll tell you now, the tale, it was true. And the story, well, a new chapter is startin’. “

Texas’ eyes, narrow with gravity

“The Predators, they’re a-fixin’ to come back.”

They Added some new tiers, for the people who are willing to pay a lot more.^^

Quote
Hey folks!

We’ve got some exciting new tiers for y’all.

First up is our brand new physical item, the Mini Plushie! This is like the plushie we already have in our Champion of Foenum tier except it will be smaller, a bit more simplified and maybe slightly chibi. You can get one of these by pledging in our new Altruistic Seeker Goat ($1250) tier.

We’ve also created a new unlimited version of the Winter Sprite tier. Those who still want to create a custom lobby accessory can now do so in our new Trendy Sprite ($275) tier! This new tier is exactly the same as the Winter Sprite tier except it does not come with the doodle from Lauren.

Last but certainly not least, we’re adding a few more to the Huoshan Captain ($1100) tier for those that are still looking to get their original character into a stage background. The early backers from before this update will still have the cheaper price.

Remember our stream is starting in less than half an hour from now. Join us at our twitch channel where we will show some more gameplay, works in progress and also Lauren Faust will be in to chat with everyone. Don’t miss it!

And for hte People who missed the Stream a link to part 1.

New Book of Lore entry is up;  This one's about Velvet, in which Mane 6 ship their OC with one of Santa's reindeer.

http://www.mane6.com/2015/10/book-of-lore-chapter-2-the-tundra-tournament/

The crowdfunding is entering its last week with just under 80% to go.  It's been hitting about 25% per week so far, so there's a pretty good chance it'll pull through.  Probably not going to hit the stretch goals, but they should at least get enough to get the base game done.

Don't these things get a boost in funders on the final days anyway.

Must say, I'm rather surprised it hasn't been funded yet. Thought more people would be eating this up.

Getting kinda scary with only 5 days to go (or 4, not sure due to timezones)

Not even quite at 85%. They've put far too much work and money into this over the last 3 or so years to have it all fail at the last second. I thought the indie fighting game community was a bit bigger than this. Even if Capcom are slowly redeeming themselves when it comes to their games, I'd still rather not be left to rely only on them to give me fighting games. Supporting this the same way I did skullgirls, supports all future games too. We need more unique fighters, like we had in the good old days. But with more of them flashy super moves like the good new days.
I am trying to set up a Guardian Heroes Mugen Project. Before I do I'm trying to collect resources at http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=88937.msg770946#msg770946
I am a sprite ripper as well as a character maker, and I do both damn well! I am always looking for projects to join. (I suck at solo projects)
I am a beta-tester and am well known for being very pedantic. I will find EVERY problem with your character.
