I was pitching an idea. How about we do something like... "never" done before?

How about we make the lifebars rounded? I'll give an example:

That might look good for the dizzy meter but it'd make checking your life a tad more complicated IMO
The lifebar is the most important meter of the game. You'll want it to be the easiest to glance at and get your info from.

The lifebar is the most important meter of the game. You'll want it to be the easiest to glance at and get your info from.

Well, I personally have no problems using that type of lifebar. (Unless you're blind). But that for dizzy metter could also be nice, some shades of SFA/Z3

I don't think I would either. But with lifebars I just think there's a reason they very rarely vary much in fighters. And that's the super easy instantaneous look, It's ingrained in us by now. Where it could take even the slightest moment longer for someone to process the info from a bar like that.

There's always the alternative to make it bigger / wider / fancier.

Even I like originality, I'm with JnP in this. Classic lifebars, plus your design for a dizzy meter.
Mind if I redesign them(using those as base, of course)?

I think it's a cool idea to put the lifebar ports near the middle, where they just want to rip each other's face out. :D

The lifebars City Hunter designed are definitely the chosen lifebars or?

I ask because wouldn't using Amy's design clash with it?(if i'm not mistaken his has a more lowres look to it)

Unless the plan was different lifebars per build?

I also ask because I would wanna take a crack at designing some lifebars for the game, but everyone seems satisfied with CH's lifebars.

I think they'd rather use CH's lifebar. Mine sucks.

Each build would also have their own bars. Multiple ideas can be presented and each build will allow users to vote on the bars they would like to see be used.

I think you should take a crack at the lifebars, Genesis. Maybe your design could incorporate elements from Hunter's design, and add your own flare to them.

Well been a while just wanted to let you guys know that I am pretty much done with the lifebars

The only thing I am having a hard time with is That I really dont know what to do for the power bar
help would be appreciated they are also open source to anyone
