do you have any exp in any of those programs....and i heard that paint shop pro is not to different then photoshop but paintshop is free phot is not... :sugoi:

Yeah...Photoshop....[size=5pt]sort of[/size] but I'm looking for an easy one..

An easy one : Paint.

You can also search for Paint.NET, which is more complete, and still free.
Still free, but as complicated as photoshop (and not ergonomic) : the Gimp. You'll do anything you want with it, you just have to learn.

Afterwards : PaintShop Pro and Photoshop : not free, not easy to use, but very powerful

Ok I see a lot of suggestions...but tutorials for each one? It can be video for all I care.

Yeah ok. Just wanted to ask for RECOMMENDED tutorials. That help?

Pfht, of course I need a tutorial for Paint. Do you know how hard it is to "Draw with the Pencil Tool"?

Paint Shop Pro 11 is the best graphics editor. It's a wonder that it has great icons in the menus, but the default setting is to hide them. Photoshop is stupid (and, of course, overpriced by a factor of 6). You should be ashamed of yourself if you use Microsoft Paint for anything.

photoshop is only for guys in the gfx design area, since it's the tool of the trade.

like R[E]ika said. Photoshop is good for graphics design. I know many people who use it primarily for that.
I use Paint shop to edit sprites and make palletes. I find it very easy to use and don't really know why anyone should have trouble with it.

MSPaint for the pixels and PSP7 for handling palettes. I like to edit without all the menus and crap around the screen, that's why I like Paint (queue guy mentioning a program that doesn't have those either).
You can help with Ikemen GO's development by trying out the latest development build and reporting any bugs on GitHub.

Paint is the Easiest one to use.
Look onto you tube they tell you how to use paint photoshop gimp etc. and you choose which one you want to use.But paint's the easiest one I think you outta use paint but it's up to you.

Because too broke for CS2/CS3 and 7 is good enough for me (i'm used to it, plus did I mention I got it through "questionable methods"? *runs*)

Yea, I got 7 though some less than legal ways as well

Ok not to sound whiney but do any of the reccomended programs help with editting a sprite that like...for example, kicking like...say...this?:
