Guy BIG UPDATE.

Currently converting Guy to A-ism.

Also here is Guy's Rage number 2.

Guy(sfa4) Rage 2

Message to staub: I decided to change it from the anti-air BMR, solbadguyZ was speaking about it's disadvantages and probability of success in mid air (being blocked and stuff) and it was a pretty low chance, so I decided to go back to the drawing board, and we came up with this, it has good range, punishes attacks and if blocked you're not at a disadvantage because of the guard push back and recovery.

To everyone else: This is the third attempt at giving Guy a decent second rage, it's been pretty long lol. Also notice he uses the palm blast from the first rage, I'm looking to alter his first rage only slightly so this doesn't get repetetive.

I'm not sure I like the kanji appearing before the final kick. Would make more sense to make it appear à la Chunli, when the kick hits the opponent, with the kanji appearing one sign after the other, and then going to the super finish animation.

The rest is cool though. Maybe he could get more afterimage, not sure it would fit with the style, you'd have to test.

Very nice. I can definitely see MKvsSF inspiration here, and I like the way it was used.

I agree with Cybaster about the Kanji showing up at the final blow/flash screen, just like Chun Li's and also....Akuma's.

I'm not familiar with KOF and DM's however I can youtube it, if I know which KOF it's from ?

When he goes back and forth hitting the opponent, change the sprite for every time he charges the opponent.

The sprites for the opponent, since it wasn't clear enough.

Unless you guys meant the sprites for Guy too. And in that case, that'd be nice too.

I'm not familiar with KOF and DM's however I can youtube it, if I know which KOF it's from ?

See that every "copy" comes and make an attack. So guy could passes by, everytime, with a different attack.

there are a lot of moves that fits: his jumping kick (the final part of the Rage move), the move there he slides and strike with his elbows, etc.

I know that you will end making something very cool :)

Okay Dokay,

Guy's fully converted to A-ism now, Ryon has made me a cool video of his update. Here's some changes listed:

+ Removed impossible juggle that wasn't in alpha 3 (let me know if you want the exact details)
+ Fixed some 1.0 sound issues on his old Rage and also improved wall bounce and slam.
+ Changed up Rage 2 as suggested it now looks and sounds better I think.
+ Less strict special move dampeners during Custom Combo, it was too weak.
+ Tweaked CLSNS
+ Wall jump command is now UF or UB, because having it F or B was conflicting with supers in the corner.

Things still to do............

+ Remove unnecessary sounds
+ Tweak EnvShakes
+ Have him beta tested by others
+ Transfer all his fx and common sounds to the screenpack (something I should have already done but nevermind)
+ Convert AI to 1.0

Just one question: when you convert his AI to 1.0, will he lose Winmugen functionality as a result, or will it be a separate AI?

Gill, when he says convert to 1.0, I'm pretty sure you know what it means. His fullgame project is 1.0 only as well, so.....bad and kind of dumb question.

But are there truly grown men in this world?!

I originally planned winmugen and 1.0 but now all characters will be strictly 1.0.

well I decided to speak with Ryon about the current rage activation fx because I was unhappy with the way things looked, So I pitched Ryon my idea and he created the fx for them for me to code and here they are:

Looks cool and all bro but does not fit well at all. Your current FX is great as is, but like I've been saying please reduce the envshake!!

Well the reason I wasn't happy with the current FX is because RAGE is their biggest most damaging move, and visually it looked like a downgrade compared to their supercharge fx.

That looks pretty cool...much better than before.

The only weird thing is how Ryu gets centered into the screen automatically after being pushed back into the dizzy state...its just weird, but I'm pretty sure you'll think of something.
