Sent him a mail if you can, he was very open to share stuff years ago, he shared to me Iori XIII before anyone else had it, iirc Vans used the sprites for a char.So asking him to update his sprites for free could get his attention and permision.
Misamu allowed Vans to use the sprites because at that point had a reputation for making quality works.I'm not even sure that character is officially released though, dunno if it would be a touchy subject. Doesn't hurt to ask though

I think that's everything that would be useful; not really sure what else could be added that would be needed or look good separated. Like, the bow and tassels on the hood, would those even look good in a different color on most palettes? I can't really imagine so. Plus, my general rule of thumb is to separate items of clothing if they're actually different pieces, and presumably those two elements of the hood are made of the same material as the rest of it.And I'm not even sure the arms need to be separated either...

Yes, only the hair, blouse, and legs were separated, I'm adding the rest and doing some clean-up on the existing stuff.

Doesn't hurt to ask thoughNot really, I asked him for the sprites and he sent them to me, I just checked my inbox here to see if I was mistaken but no, I sent them to Vans when he told me he had free time to work on Mugen. Anyways, try to get in contact with him, I cant help you with that because the mail I used to sent him a mail is dead (9 years ago).
