How would you go about filtering this sprite?Getting rid of the background and all and making it compatible for Mugen.
Usually its better to record using a backdrop that has a very different colour.But for starters you would use the selection tool to draw a separation line between the character and wall. Google "Chroma Key" to have some tips on how to do a proper backdrop.I would say to use green or blue so its easier to remove.second, make sure the backdrop is homogeneous. the one you are using there have too many folds and shadows, which will make it a bitch to clean. you will want to use some movie making software, since it makes the work much easier.this is pretty much what you should try to aim fortip: Don't be afraid of looking ridiculous on this stage of the work. Using an outfit with different and clashing colors WILL make it easier to do create palettes later on.
