I gotta say, this actually looks pretty legit. Not much of a big fan of monstrous titans, but this will definitely take the cake to my liking.

One small suggestion: Will some characters be unlockables?

Thanks! And I was trying to do exactly that with the unlockables. Just dont want them all to be available from the start. But this option really depends on if the feature gets implemented in IKEMEN GO or not, from what I've seen from their select.def, they're working on an "unlock" mechanism right now. If not I'll have to find my own way about it

UPDATE: modified add004 to do hyper-cancels while in hyper state and hitting the tag command (it originally does cancels for normals only), examples below. Also early on, there seemed to be lag with the cancel commands so some I found it impossible to actually execute cancels on, but I found out there are some places in add004 I had to add "ignorehitpause" to fix this.

This one was a pain in the arse, for each 35 characters, I had to calculate X and y position so that this explod could lay over the target correctly and look like it wraps around each characters body correct. Multiply that by 3 for each 3 different grapple types. But finally finished with Biollante's grapples, just like the SNES game. Next up is TurboDuo boss Biollante (Rose and Final Form) variant, and a revamped jet jaguar to come

Boss type version of Biollante Rose/Final Form finished. Different from the SNES version of the game (previous post) this version appeared in a turbo duo pce prequel and plays way differently, but was never playable in that game.

Here's an update



Revamped Jet Jaguar, gamplay, sprites, and animations Coming soon. Also Coming Soon, with original spritework:
-Orga
-King Ceesar
-UNDECIDED
(Probably a classic character)

The UNDECIDED character will not be any godzilla or king ghidorah incarnation (although burning godzilla will still be coming). Too many of those variations in this game right now, which means no mechagodzilla's, spacegodzilla, godzuki, king ghidorahs of any kind at this moment in time. We are looking to diversify the cast so for now, no more new variations. Updated Final Wars Gigan sprites will come in the future though as well.

Full trailer for Jet Jaguar, no good version exists of him so I made one myself with the help of spriter Gabriel Piedra with basic foundations based on the release by kirbey(author)

Im guessing this should move to the ikemen threads, anyways, created an incredibly simple unlock system by modifying the ikemen go lua files. Based on how many times you finish arcade mode.

TITANOSAURUS  just joined the battle. Also, King Caesar, Orga, Baragon, Monster X and a mystery toho character I dont think anyone will figure out are coming as well. Stay tuned.

I should probably add a footnote since I do get these questions a lot, every single character from Kaijuu Daikessen and Godzilla Battle Legends are already finished and in the game, so that includes Mecha King Ghidorah. Every new character you see me working on now are ones that have not existed in this format yet. I'll probably do a live stream preview some time, but my channel does have a lot of other footage
