Wow, it's getting gorgeous, I still remember you have downloaded the SPs dr4ch1r, my first, I was studying them until I learned to tinker with screenpacks.
I think the MT3 also deserves a remake. :kugoi:

Thanks, guys.

I've mocked up the lifebars and I'll start work on them tomorrow. Take a look:

Edit: I've changed the text color in the power bar. The white seemed more visible in photoshop.

With World Warriors X HD completed and released (check out the release topic here), I have now moved on to my next project:, MUGEN Tournament HD. Check the first post for a quick preview of the menu screen =D

Thanks for the support guys, here's a mockup of the select screen:

The main difference between this and the old MT3 is that MT3 used a lot of flashing and lightning effects that messed with my eyes. Now there's a bit of lightning in the menu screen but it's not too bad. There is no lightning here, I decided to focus on the moon here.
I've decided teammates names aren't important vs the space it takes up. Also note custom portraits won't be necessary here, although they aren't really necessary in WWXHD either if you modified a few lines in the system.def.

  • There is a demente in everyone!

This is looking very good!

I don't like so much the tree in the background... but I like the fact that is not going to have custom ports!

Any idea for the lifebar? If I can suggest a couple of things:

1) non-introsive lifebars

2) powerbars on top

That tree is kinda needed for the blowing leaves animation, dude. =P
Also, I have my lifebars planned out. I don't know if they will be non-intrusive or not but the powerbars will be at the top.

Lookin good so far
Thanks!

Anyway, I've mocked up the victory screen here. I've been trying to use 9000,1 as the base for most portraits to cut down on adding sprites to characters. 9000,0 and 9000,1 will be coded for custom ports on release but if you want them back to default I'll definitely make it obvious in the select.def so anyone can customize that part.

EDIT: FUCK IT, I SHOULDN'T SPEND ALL DAY ON A VICTORY SCREEN. THIS IS THE FINAL, USING 9000,2

I'm not one for bumps, but here is a preview video of work done:

And yes, the margins in the victory screen need to be fixed a little. Overall I'm extremely happy with the accuracy in relation to my mockups.

Man your on fire and I love the menu concept. Something new with flavor and your quick with the concepts. Got to ask what will be your next project. The select and victory is right on point with everything. It would be awesome if you could get the lighting to have it's own sound blended. Mono of both sounds would be great. Take your time and keep it rocking man.

That's odd timing, I had been itching to mockup my next project so I did it last night:

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

EDIT: Here is the mockup for the Lifebars:

About 40% through coding, screenpack should be released tomorrow morning NZDT at the latest.

Man you are picking up quick and please continue on. You are setting a bar for yourself and it's a very high one. Love the concept for the life bars and the menu of your next wip. Really nothing to say but, continue to impress and shock the mugen community.
