The SS64 stocks were incredibly simple; some of those are far too detailed.
Compare Fox's icon, which has no eyes at all, and your one for Wolf, which has detailed eyes.

Oh, I want a diagram. I fucking love diagrams.

I think it could use slight movement to match the upperbody movement/breathing. thats it really

Hands are really tiny in all of your latest sprites. Make them bigger (it's fine if they cover up the body) Also, his legs are too close together. Like he's standing up straight, a la M. Bison victory pose.

He's not overly muscular either, so I would also probably go with the standard pole-shaped arms.
