Yea, you might wanna scrap that standing block. Both arms seem to get skinnier and overall, it doesn't really look like that stance would effectively block anything, lol. Kinda looks a bit wimpy.

Overall that punch is not terrible, but the recovery frame (4th frame of the animation) breaks the overall flow of the animation; he bends back too much.
I'll wait till thats animated, but I'd remove the bent arm entirely, makes his arm look broke, almost like he's just throwing it back into socket.
The sprites are all good but the animation is all kinds of wrong, it looks more like he's dancing then throwing a punch at someone!
I think it is much too of sprite for a simple punch but I hope it is well and thank you for your sprite "C.v.s The Abstract"
