Wouldn't he have shiny skin cuz of the oil or is that not possible in cvs shading?

Adding some highlights should do the work. Benimaru's gloves or Chunners' outfit should be a good reference for shiny surfaces.
Anyway, I deliberately resigned from adding it, because being covered in oil is not Hakan's "default state".

Very good! Can't spot any flaw on this one, maybe (and just MAYBE) her left hand (viewer's right) is a bit too small, or maybe it's just me. But overall it's fantastic.

IDK if it really fits within the limitations of the style, but I think Athena's hair would benefit from an extra color (a darker hue around the bottom/tips).

Feedback from Beximus on Discord:
Quote
I think reason it looks awkward is because he's not breathing.
He's moving a lot but his torso is static and unchanging. His neck should bobble slightly so that his eyes stay level on the opponent.
Well I'm glad that his knees move that's very important, I hate seeing legs that just contract like there's a piston in it.
He could examine Victor's animation from Darkstalkers to see how they handle the action of stationary breathing.
The way the shoulders move.
How the head would rest on the neck.
Also some slight movement of the hair at the edges to give the hair some inertia would help bring him alive as well.
Idle animations like stances and walks are crucial and should receive a lot of attention.
They convey the personality of the character.
Btw the bit of clothing hanging on the back of Asura, it should stay stuck to the leg at the bottom and bend the higher it goes.
Right now that golden bit of clothing in back looks like it's a plastic shell. It just needs to behave more like cloth and it'll be fine.
I strongly suggest that he take a look at Ryo Sakazaki's sprites from Capcom vs Snk for the hair.
They have similar hair styles.
He could take a look at it for shading references.

Ok, i thought that i'd look like that because the lack of a belt.  Also I prefer sagat being a little chubby on the stomach(no 8 abs).

https://2dwillneverdie.com/tutorial/
https://irwt.iammanyninjas.com/sprite.html

These two are very helpful, and there are more if you search it right.

His abs are still weird to me... may be the shading, it's just too confusing to look at.
Also, his legs are also weird, his calves are too thick imo, they should be a bit thinner. Also happens in the viewer's right arm, near the wrist. I hope you get what I mean.
But overall, is getting good, keep it up!
