yea it can be tricky learning initially, i just constantly refer to system.base or just ask questions in the discord!

demo version 1 of 1st strike ikemen .98.2 version is now available

im running a pretty beefy rig (i7-8700k rtx3060ti 16gb RAM) and had to use the 4GB Patch for this to work so if it crashes on launch, try using that.

template should be included, or just download em from my post before use localcoord=427 on characters!

bumping this bc i have a handful of W.i.P's I've been sitting on for a hot min that I feel are worth starting to show

The first two are screenpacks this one is based on my Lost Jungle and it was made with digitized characters in mind, as you can see I primarily use them in this screenpack lol, I'd say this sp is about 40-45% done? I do wanna play around with some aesthetic stuff

Next is my Cosmic Collision screenpack that I've been mainly focused on for the last few months,

here's a dated video from when I was testing the sounds for the SP, self voice acted the lifebar announcer as well, just pitched way up lol

These are both being made on ikemen ver .98.2 with the multiple face2 mod on cosmic collision

it aint much but ive been teaching myself photoshop to make my ideas come to life and figured id share with you guys. feedback is welcome

also here is the portrait pack for the Cosmic Collision Screenpack, the template is included. please feel free to make and post portraits here I will include them in the final pack once its released :)

Hloader's recent Ikemen-HDization of the Classic EVE battle Lifebars really inspired me to make a screenpack to complement them :)

the ports on the select screen are intended to be compatible with the lifebars, with minor adjustments to the lifebar code (as seen in the screenshots/video),

if hloader doesn't mind I'll probably just release my edit along with the pack so users don't have to fiddle around with adjusting that :P

I could post the portrait template for you guys if y'all wanna make ports to include in the portrait pack for the SP just let me know :)

I don't really feel like this screenpack compliments the lifebars in the same way the originals did. The versus screen in particular strikes me as a bit odd, it doesn't really follow the same color scheme as the title screen or CSS and it honestly feels a bit empty and slow with the speed of the space background and how the portraits are put into black monitors.

is it just the versus screen being so different that makes you feel like the *whole* screenpack isn't complementary? :P menu is still in its infancy so overall ignore it for now,

vs screen was originally different but due to some things not possible on the engine /yet/ (cant show big port and animated port for all 3 chars in vs screen right now)

so in turn i ended up with empty space that i dont wanna fill just yet if im gonna potentially change it :(

I may play around with the space background

monitors are gonna get recolored, i just havent yet lol

There were a few other things I found weird but maybe it's more personal preference than anything. For example the CSS has a decent enough concept with the portraits matching those of the lifebars and stuff, but I personally don't really like the cybernetic background as much as I do the "warp speed" backgrounds of the winmugen eve screenpack and the later HD one. My post was initially going to be very different but I didn't want to sound super rude so I wound up writing a completely different one that was more confusing than I initially thought it was.

Maybe that's what's really up with the vs screen, there's just a lot of empty space. I get the feeling that the changes you'll make in the future will probably remedy that but I don't know how exactly.

went back to the drawing board for the vs screen (with help from slayer & super ty both!) actually made the main menu and victory screens
