Geez, it actually did take me a while to put that project here--but I'm quite a shy guuuuuuuy so--------yeah! Anyways!

I'm glad to present to you Big Bang Beat x Street Fighter.












I don't even know how this idea came up, then again I'm a huge Street Fighter fan and I always wanted to do a Street Fighter game even though there's like 10000000000000000 SF mugen game, already. And I had fun with all of them, I ain't going lie but that's beside the point!---- I've released my first full game here, which was Big Bang Beat Revolution and I wanted to make something..........Better? Which I hope it's going to be the case with this game!

I've played Big Bang Beat 1st Impression a lot, because I wanted the gameplay to be really closed to it. That was my first mistake by making my first game, it plays nothing like Big Bang Beat which is a big OOF. (Well, for me.) I finally decided to put the project here so I could get feedbacks from you guys. Like what would be better, or if there are some things that I should remove.

So! About the mechanics---well!

It's a 6 buttons game. Now I know--I know. Big Bang Beat is a game with 3 buttons only but errrrrr----I kinda am addicted with 6 buttons so I did my best to make them look playable in 6 buttons? And I'm glad that it was possible to do so by adding new sprites from the sequel of Big Bang Beat 1st Impresion, which was called Big Bang Beat Revolve.

Run/Dash
Air Dash
Super Jump
Air Combos (No launchers, though.)
EX attacks.
Parry.

Flow Break : It allows you to cancel any normals/specials (Air ones too) to go straight back to your fighting stance. It only works after hitting an opponent though, if your opponent is blocking you won't be able to use it. Be careful it costs half of your meter, though-- :





B Dash: An advanced version of the character's Dash. It is much faster, and has the ability to cancel any move type, allowing for more combo opportunities. Costs -700% of your meter. (That was a mechanic from the first Big Bang Beat game.)



Which basically allows you to pull of combos from the original game too!





B-Breaker :



B-BANG!! :



So yeah, that's it for now.

In this video, I'm basically explaining how the gameplay of the game is going to be. It's still like, a BBB game with crazy combos, but with a Street Fighter's slow pace style.

All the characters are not 'my property' they're based from BBB and SF characters that already have been coded before, I've based the characters that I used of them. You'll see them all in the credits.



And for the finish, there is a demo out so you can test it! Tell me if you find any bugs, infinites--because. Well--we never know, nothing is perfect hehe.

Hey, I remember seeing all this on YouTube! This game looks wild and crazy, and I’m definitely going to give the demo a try when I can. I’ll most definitely give feedback too, but don’t expect it to be too in-depth.

You should do some try. pas sûr du résultat...
I'm not a specialist, but I think local coord might affect portraits (??)
but the scale option might not be so stable (I have memories of using it and have the offset of fireball misaligned because of this)

But I still recommand to use "scale"
Let's see if otherpeople can confirm or not.

you can find it on the last youtube video linked. Also, changing the local coord to 420,240 might help a lot, even if you might have to resize portraits a bit (replying to ryu here)

It already is the case, though--All of the characters are in 420,240

Shin Lvl 2 Akuma?

I think so. He is based on the Akuma designed by Peroxide for his mk vs sf videos back in the day.

I played the game.
The interface is magnificent. AWESOME. I would not mind this pack for my mugen.
The combo system is easy for beginners. To chain longer combos will require skills and practice. I love this games combo system.
The hit sparks are lovely too. Interface wise, it looks neat. very crisp.
this is my observation as a lay man who likes playing fighting games.

My main criticism is the song during character selection. That SFIII song does not match the mood. This a fast paced hype game. Perhaps use a rock song or instrumental similar to indestructible by Disturbed.

Apart from that, i have no extra feedback for now.

I did however get this error whenever i picked ryu.
