Stats.

Vitality is health, Haste is x-axis speed, Velocity is y-axis speed, Constitution is a damage modifier, Current is the charge speed for the power bars and Vaults is the number of air-jumps.  Further effort to make each character just a little bit different...

Know what that is?  Those are the horns that the characters wear if they're hit with the anteoculatia spell.  Those are the last things I had to draw.  Every other image is already accounted for...

...I hope.

I am still here!

That's a pretty good looking screenpack, nice job :)

Although that E picture in the intro looks weird, maybe you could change it so it won't be too similar to the ESRB one, but that's just a minor nitpick

This is looking like a very nice game dude.

I have a question though: Will you be allowing single releases of characters?

Nope, sorry.

It's a full-game and heavily coded as such; The characters won't work outside of Hogwarts.

The perils of magic, I guess...

this is so cool, and the thought that you made this specifically for your children gives it an added value, cant wait to get my hands on this!! *.*

Awesome!    This might be a quiet forum, but I can guarantee there's a lot of excitement and anticipation.  It really looks like a whole new type of fighting game, all wrapped up in some really impressive graphics, and taking the story back in time to the 40s was truly creative.
So yeah, I check this thread pretty often :)

I hope you'll have a playable demo up soon! Even if it only has one character, and a handful of spells, say... one spell for each category, just giving people a preview of how the game works would be awesome! Looking forward to this! Keep at it man! ^^
On a demo...

Thanks for the support, everybody!

I really go back and forth on a demo.  I want to show off what I've done so far and get some much-needed opinions on things, but I'm afraid that calling attention to this project will only get it shut down, which I will forever forward call "The Terrordrome Affect."  Hur4c4n had an insane amount of time wrapped up in his horror movie Fighter Maker project, and when Warner got done with him he not only couldn't release the game with their characters, he couldn't release it.  So, at least right now, I'm thinking no trailers, no demos, no hype outside The Guild until it's done.  Once it's finished and out there, they really can't stop it.

Although even saying that probably opens me up for all sorts of legal trouble...

I am still working on it.  I am still going through the spells and changing the Explods, hitsparks and visual effects so that they don't all look the same.  There's a lot of spells, too.

I'll post some updates in the next few days, just so you can see where things are.  Anything specific you want to see, let me know.

Thanks again!

The pause screen might work better with arrows instead of words

You might want to use F12 for screenshots.
Is finding MUGEN to be more enjoyable to play when you're not wearing clothes an underrated opinion?

Okay, note to self:  First post progress report, then post notice of progress report...

Got it.

Hey, Lith, C.A.N.; I'm sorry, my bad, you were too fast.  Now see the first post.

And if the pause screen had arrows, I'd have to have seperate screens (page images) for players facing left, and players facing right.   There are already four images for each movelist, and one image unique to each character.  Twenty nine screen-sized images, and I'd have to double it.  Too much work, too much SFF.  I totally agree that it'd be better, though.  I wanted to do it that way.
