Bola (Ball in portuguese) was made at 2002 by VIB, one of the smartest guy I ever know.
Its a original char, with great codes which wasn't working on Winmugen.

Thanks yo Ryouwin, now he works in Winmugen and 1.0 (minus the freqmul on sounds).

Don't judge it by its look, it can kick your ass in no time.

I know people do patches, but I don't like to do this. If the original creator wanted it chep, let it be.

This is what I mean with "as a matter of respect". Is not a excuse to not fix something, its just I don't feel confortable "fixing"  other people works.

When I use the "B,a+b" super that you can read in the readme, the character gets stuck, regardless if it succesfully hit or not. Also, the Night Shade super is unblockable, and seeing the damage it does and that it's full-screen, I don't like this. The same goes for the attack that put the Blind status to you, making it impossible for attacks to connect unless they're projectiles or grabs (except it doesn't do that much damage), and it definitely needs more cooldown. Last, that three forms only increase damage of some supers by a huge amount for each transformation. That's a bad way to add transformations.

I will check about it gets stuck. But about the other moves, as far as I remember, are intended to be that way.
As a matter of respect to the original (retired) creator, we haven't changed anything.

I don't really like you using that "As a matter of respect" if it means you leave two unblockable full-screen super/special with not enough startup for this character.

For the three forms, I really don't care. It's a matter of not using them and that's all. The problem is when the AI uses them, in this case it's bad if it also uses that full-screen super, since this attack gets powered by a lot for each form, reaching a 1-Hit KO in the last form.

Nanashi, I understand what you say and respect it. But our intention was just to make the char to work again on mugen, without changing anything it had.
I am pretty sure about the full-screen special, but that was the original creator wish and I won't change it. To me, its respect to someone else work.

Maybe you didn't know this char when it was released. But the main idea is that people judge books by its cover, so a simple BALL would be a bad char and won't stand a chance against a normal char. Like BBH said, it can kick old Evil Ken's ass in no time. And that was intended for.

If you do not agree, you are free to change it. There are people who made patches to other people works, but I don't do this. There is no RIGHT or WRONG about it.

Yeah.  If anyone wants to, they can do what I did with Mario and make a balance patch for Bola.
