There are few details about this yet, but Ono confirmed Capcom didn't forget about SFIII3s, so they will be bringing back the game with online mode.
Development has just started and he's asking the fans to talk about their suggestions.

My first suggestion is: DONT FUCKING TOUCH A THING. I don't think we need a SFIII3s Remix. Also, odds of HD sprites are very low IMHO. The ammount of animation is huge compared to SSF2T.

I hope there's updated music, sounds/voices, graphics (With models I suppose because redrawing would take too much time. MvC3 style.) and the game is rebalanced so my character is better and the characters I fight against the most are different form what they are in current 3S on GGPO.

What would be the point of all that

From what I've played, TS seems fine.

Would love a option to change the music/sound/VA's to any of the previous 2 SFIII games. Shoot, how about throwing in all of the later stages for boot. Kind of like how Darkstalkers 3 was on the PS.

THANK YOU BASED GOD

It doesn't just seem fine.
It is fine.

Coming from a person that stuck with Third Strike until every other fighting game started looking like Guilty Gear.

Anyhow, this is great!
They gotta do something with the sprites.
If not HD the sprites up, then at least add some sort of filter that doesn't look god awful.

Pixels in HD do not look as pretty on TV.

hq3x is a good filter in nFBA, IMO.

Agreed with Renzo. A straight port is absolutely fine by me, the game is great and I can't wait for it.

Street fighting is all about analysis, prediction, and reaction. That's it.

x2.

Online play without Kawaks = win.

Though I hope the netcode isn't as fucking horrible as HDR's.

My suggestion is to add Street Fighter III: New Generation and Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact to the mix.

The gap from Chun/Yun to Sean is way too big.

Tbh I don't see the need for a straight port, its easy enough to play 3s on a PC online

HDR online wasn't that bad now was it?
It is.. decent from the little bit I've played. Both players have to have pretty good connections to play smoothly though, whereas some fighters still play relatively smooth with 1 or 2 bar connections.
I'd be lucky if I even got a connection...

Another thing to keep in mind is they need to make online code to accommodate parrying.

HDR suffers what I call "Time Machine Syndrome". If you played the game a lot, you know what I mean.
@KW: I really like NG and GA stages, but the style is VERY different from 3s. Sad thing is, they are superior in quality compared to the ones in 3s.

I could be playing SFIII3s on GGPO or P2P and getting my ass kicked by Tempest's Urien right know, but having it on a proper console feels better to me somehow. I'm grateful they already announced this, because it will make SHUT THE FUCK UP all the people who is *still* whinning about 3s being better than SF4/SSF4 because of the parry.

My suggestion is to add Street Fighter III: New Generation and Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact to the mix.

So...Hyper Street Fighter 3? I'd think the best way to make it work would be to roll all of the games into one and allow players to select which version of the character to use.

Yeah, here's my pick....

SFIII TS chars and gameplay...previous game stages and music...TAG mode just for kicks.

...and if they change anything else...I will kill.  ;D

NO FUCKING ANYTHING. Capcom knows very well what kind of people played this game all this 11 years. Changing even a bit is suicide.
I'm not THAT hardcore with this game to detect "subtle" differences in ports, but I think DC version had some issues and people whinned a lot about it. Not to mention SF AC.

No fucking tag.
An additional TAG mode for it wouldn't hurt the regular gameplay in any way now would it, angry pants? I'm just saying it would be interesting to see a TAG mode added.
