Melty Blood Developer Revealing New Game

The developers of the Melty Blood games, Ecole Software, will be revealing a new 2D fighting game on Sunday, February 6th. The announcement will take place during a special tournament event they are holding called "Hydra GP". It will be held at Club Sega in Akihabara at 11PM. We will keep our eyes open for details and keep you informed.

Nice, lets see if it will be just a "clone" with different characters, setting but identical gameplay or be really something new ^^

They already talked about that future game in the past. Took them long enough to announce it officially that they're making it.

Let's just wish they don't do anything stupid like what you said. I love originality, and MB lacked that in some characters.

Well, I sure liked Blazblue when it appeared for the first time. And the Umineko fighting game is also nice.

I just wish they don't go for the easy way, like in MB. I swear, they used the same sprites for some moves of characters that had an evil side. That just showed me they were quite lazy there. At least in MBAA they decided to show they were taking this a little more seriously.
