Really bad... But I think Athena doesn't interest me enough to make that work. Could be relatively easy, but I have to be "in love" with the character to complete a sheet of sprites! $:-\$

I was just looking through some MI alts and colors yesterday and thought that it'd be real cool to see Athena's in sprite form. I may make a palette or two of this just because.

Looks really good and I like the dorky feel.

I made the try because a pair of you asked me, but I don't like it at all...

If I make one, will be the "normal" outfit from KOF MI2, but not this one!

I guess I could... I do the same thing I do with que 2D sprite. I over-write as píxels as necessary!

Usually I take many parts (head, arms, torso) from many chars, and then, I change the colors and finally draw what is necesary.
Let me give you 2 examples:

Avatar KOF 2K2 (Classic) Style.

DONE

Well, I started the 2k2 avatar using parts from Orochi Shermie (Torso and Arms), Mary (waist), Whip (Head) and Kula (Hair). I mixed up all the parts and then I "started drawing".

Avatar KOF 2k3 Style

DONE

In 2k3 avatar I used a one single char: Chizuru, and as you can see, I made many changes n_n

That's my secret, pal. I hope this could be useful 4 U!

Hmm, her KOF MI 2 outfit... That would be nice to i guess. It was cute hower, it always reminded me of that ugly horrible costume she had in 2001 and 2000

Something about that Mi outfit looks different...
It looks lilke her original Mi outfit but at the same time it isn't, maybe make her gloves more funnel like and her shoulder pads more curled on the tip?
Also her hair buns need to be more puffy/ bigger. And their should be some strands of hair going down the side of her head.

Ok, you gave me the feedback for mine, so I'm giving you the feedback for yours (is the fair, isn't it? n_n):

First at all, palette!
Ok, Athena usually uses RED but on KOF MI 2 she uses PINK and VIOLET (for boots, for example, and I see them red too)!
The shoulder pads more curled on the tip in your picture are possible because of the stand move (battle pose). She has her arms upside down on each picture, so the shoulder pads follow that patron of move, and that's why couldn't be curled on mine.
Also, using those colors for the "accesory" over the lock of hair make her looks with no hair O_o (The accesory should be next to the ear area I think) Also I find the breeches a little long (but could be for the move on the "skirt" because of the standing pose, of course)

After all, you gave me the most perfect example (Churky is an excellent spriter, a friend of mine, and I had the honor of work with him making Luise, so I'm glad to see his work one more time!)

What about the "loli" Athena, guy? The alternative outfit. Any suggestion?

Her Alt outfit ("loli" Athena) that you made is really good, the only thing i can say might need some fixing (not really) is the glasses on her face. Seems to cover half her face, Might i suggest making her lens see through, so we can see her eyes?
