What character really makes you appreciate the fact that mugen exists?

Evil Dan by ilcane87 is the first mugen character I ever saw in mugen so many years ago. He still makes me shake my head and laugh to this day. Just an amazing creation...

Just off the top of my head, A lot of the characters Ahuron has made, His Mukuro and Briaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! for starters

I am so old there my answer is the oposite, instead of the edited chaarcters, the first accurate character I found, which was neokyo, it proved that mugen, unlike other engines, could do a decent job on making characters up to the standars of comercial games, enough so that they felt the same for most players.

well, there was samus , you could swap between the armoured versiona dn the zero suit one; armoured version 's visuals were in the same style as dragon claw zero suit was cvs style witha moveset inspired by brawl.

Sakuraka's Sailor characters. Despite them being flawed in so many ways it's one of the major reasons I started spriting and recently investing in MUGEN.
