Nemuresu said, September 09, 2020, 07:24:56 amManaged to modify her colours to keep the count at 16. Once again, credits to Riklaionel for his original Songbird sprite (from which I took most colours) and to Sean Altly (for his spriting method).Spoiler: Original Version with more colours for comparison (click to see content)- You lost some shapes when trying to edit Cassandra from ROTD to Songbird. In fact, look at the knees and the chest.- There's no set light source, her arms look pillow shaded.- The face also doesn't look CvS styled enough. Try to use some of the original CvS spritesets to guide to make one.

Are the arms too bright, too dark or is it another issue?I'm already looking into fixing the face, bad shapes and general shading; but I don't understand that part about the arms.
Pillow shading is a term used to refer to a certain type of shading which doesn't take into account the shapes of things and it's generally done by "hugging" a light area with dark colours. In fact, if you look at the arms, more precisely the one on the right (the yellow part), you will see that there's no real shading: there's the outline, then near all the outline pixels there's the darker yellow colour and in the middle there's the light yellow colour. For the chest it's more or less the same thing.https://pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11299&PID=139322#139322

I'll get rid of all the pillows.
Now then, here's my sprites showcase (dampir edits) (dampir retouched sprite) (kof edit) (kof edited and scaled) (kof edited and scaled)
Looking good like always, sabockee!Just thought I'd share this since it's been sitting on my laptop the past 2 years. The character's name is Durumsca who is apart of my personal project. The excellent sprite work done by Metal Warrior.

yo those are awesome! I notice you do 2 different versions. Is like one sticks to a 15-16 color limit, and one is with a few more colors?
Daisy by Thanewdude07, commissioned by me. Feedback towards him and myself would be appreciated.Animation coming soon.
