Yes, he is! They're both yu-gi-oh cards, actually, that's zombie master summoning him.

Sure, but it'll have to wait until Thursday the 29th to talk about it, I'm kind of trying to finish up a really important real-life task.

^got some help from MotorRoach with the face and color scheme. It looks a lot nicer now. Only a few more things before it's done.

I would have answered you earlier Ned, but by the time you asked I was fast asleep. And by the time I saw it, I was at work.

Anyways, the links above detail the Grayscale method, but I differed in my approach in three things:

1) Scaling to 200% (rather than 500%)
2) Using the Bicubic Sharper interpolation when downsizing (he used Billinear)
3) Using a Posterize adjustment layer at 4 colors rather than using Index mode. (useful tip courtesy of balmsold).

for photoshop, to sizeup drawing or pixelart I use "alienskin blowup" addon plugin, it has Much better scaling algorithm than anything photoshop has to offer.
