I REALLY want to complain about the ridiculousness of Mercury and Blue Ranger's gap in every stat category. I won't but man does it itch. (Actually all of them kinda make that little voice in the back of your head object how all of them outside the two joke ones and arguably the ninja one got the wrong winner but it's whatever)
The Goomba vs Koopa one's a funny mutli-layered bunch of in-jokes. Surprised they didn't kill Green Lantern mid-interference after all the people commenting on the whole counter to time travel thing Ben's got to kill GL like that.
I'm fine with the Batman match-up, but man I would have liked it if the build-up was to a legit Batman + prep time vs Superman fight. This one's less enticing.

Same bit as my previous assumption they would do Batman vs Iron Man, I'm simply ignorant of Iron Man's top-tier toys. By simple logic on what I do know though Batman's big guns let him fight Darkseid and not instantly pulp into mush. Who is a much bigger threat than Thanos by DB's own assertion, and I'd assume his other big fights are lesser or gotten by with the help of his teammates. Which is not to say Batman doesn't need a lot of help as well, but he outplans future-sight gods and whatnot, and seems to hold his own better with bigger baddies than Iron Man with lessers in comparison. But once again, I only read so much Iron Man. I read Infinity Gauntlet comic run, which is hard to grant many feats to anyone because whoever has the gauntlet either auto-wins whatever they fight or leaves them barely hanging on to life because it's fun to them, not them going full effort into winning with the gauntlet.
Also Iron Man gets his head blown off in that so...yeah. Beyond that there was Ragnorok in which Tony figured out the supposed impossible for human to understand Asgardian tech and made his own versions of their weapons and armor for all the Avengers/X-Men. But it wasn't particularly special feat-wise.
Guess I'll just have to wait and see what they got to show in this case. Unless the plan is Iron Man's stuff is weaker, but there's, like, 10 billion suits of him at once against one Batman.
