Having CPU fight as second player in Versus

I've been away from Mugen for a while (Gmod has stolen me), so I may be mistaken.  But I recall there's a way to have the CPU play as player 2 in Versus mode, instead of having 2 human players.  Is this true?  Because if so, it'll save me a lot of time trying to get to fight a specific character.

If not, is there any other way I can choose a specific fight for Player v.s. CPU?  Other than making a copy of Mugen, and deleting everyone but the two characters needed, and going to Arcade....

Ctrl+2, I think, as long as you have debug keys on in mugen.

Ctrl+1 turns P1 AI on, so CPU controls P1 . ;)

Yep, that got it working.  Took me a minute to figure out you had to press that in the match, not the character selection screen.  Thanks for the help.

I wonder why plain fight the CPU isn't a default option.  Huh, ah well.

Debug keys work in all modes, so simply press cltr+1 or 2 to toggle the player/AI on the respective character.
