It seems that the DLC characters had some intro dialogues leaked. Though its just text and it could be fake, it seems pretty legit.Spoiler: I found five videos that compile those dialogues, though they focus on five characters, all of them include the other leaked DLCs as well (click to see content)
Yeah, I like some of them which harken back into some of the things they come from.Edit: One of the writers spills the beans about the woman in Jade's MK9 ending. Turns out it was her mother being released after Shao Khan's defeat and possessing Jade.
Considering that leaks have proved reliable (screenshots of the the whole roster revealed before release) while the people working on it haven't (hiding the bullshit that was the Krypt and lying about the presence of NPCs in the game), I'll take the risk of siding with the leaks this time, specially because if Ash appears, nobody said it had to be the original actor playing him.
So this potentially means one of four things:A: Bruce Campbell is jerking our chain and Ash Williams is absolutely a DLC character for MK11. [Possibly the most likely]B: Ash Williams is going to be DLC, but NRS just didn't get Bruce Campbell to do the voice and if that's the case, Bruce just has no idea that Ash is going to be in the game. [This might sound unlikely, but remember that Patrick Seitz (voice of Scorpion from Mortal Kombat vs DC to MKX) didn't find out he wasn't going to provide Scorpion's voice in MK11 until the announcement trailer dropped.]C: It's another case of Ed Boon screwing with the fans [and dataminers] by putting fake lines of code in the game files. [Second most likely, as Boon voiced his displeasure at some of the aforementioned MK11 leaks getting out.]D: It's Ash Ketchum.
For those interested, Jasonpolo posted all intros of all characters in the game. God bless him.https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTVJ8irPnCgxv9z5QwHLyYbQNkiXvG_3L
Bumping the thread since Shang Tsung is going to be shown off on Friday as well as the first kombat pack.

omg kintaro makes an appearance as one of his fatalities, shang tsung steals the soul of a certain fighter he's fighting with instead of inputting buttons to transform into a fighter, he has a few morph specials like ermac's telekinesis, reptile's slide, etc.
GTOAkira said, June 01, 2019, 01:59:17 amYou can hear Ash chainsaw at the endDoesn't mean Terminator is the other one, it could be Joker.EDIT: Also, I like how he can transform into ninjas that are currently in the game, which means that him transforming into Rain, Reptile, Ermac and Smoke doesn't deconfirm them as possible future DLC.

Yeah, i'm thinking he has a variation with just the core ninjas in his movelist, one with his classic moves and stealing the opponent's moves, and one based on his work of tech and magic. Either way, it was shown long ago that the datamine had merit since they even had some interactions in there as well. Now that I think about it, the idea for a second Kombat Pack isn't far fetched since the two guests are going to be in the first pack. That just leaves one guest and Sheeva as the odd ones out and for the second pack.Edit: it's gotta be Ash and Terminator cause of the chainsaw sound and you can hear a little bit of the Terminator theme near the end of the trailer.
