Hello there, I fixed some flags in the stance, groups 20,21 and 100 has been fixed, parry sprites has been updated, groups 170, 180 and 186 updated.

Further I'm working to a new takuma sff starting from zero but for now is only an idea, I'm also carring on with robert and takuma aof sprites though very slowly, but I hope to fnish them off one day.
So, this is it for now, stay tuned for future upgrading.
Oh I forgot to mention the new sprites group 185 and basically all the sprites the groups from 0 to 186 has been fixed.

You should probably adjust the colormaps on the indexing.

Here's 2 indexes from 2 seperate sprites in the spritesheet.
Hopefully you've used the same colors for each sprite though.

Ok, here's what I did for Takuma:

Based on this:
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

My only issue with Robert is the face, my easy suggestion is moving the mouth a pixel or two higher.

So what percentage did you use to scale Takuma to CVS size or did you use his regular size from KOF?

I used regular size for this sff, i just growing some parts like feet an face but I'm not fully satisfied of the final result becaause is not accurate and doesn't respect the original takuma looking so I redid the stance but this time scale the image of the 8 percent and this is the result

  (old look)

  (new look)

as you can see this solution is far better and sprites looks more accurate and more like the original kof sprites. I never used this method for the kof size

because i always do all the work manually.

I really prefer the old style, the new one seems too SFA styled imo.

I agree with Shao_Kun. I also would keep the old version.
It looks really good and I don't think that it needs any further edits. But of course it's up to you.

Thank you for your tips, I actually thought to make a cps version of Takuma but it was just an idea ( i really just tried out this method by scaling the sprites).

Same here.
I feel like every late update or redesign suggestion for Takuma is not that good.
It become far from CVS style and seems to have less details or something.

I'm pretty sure any artistic work have to be "stopped" at some point.
Sometime, continuing to update again and again will just miss the essence of it.
(hard to explain in english for me)

I hope you will work on other characters now! Your skills can do incredible good results!
Go on with other great characters!

Ok, I fixed the floating elbow in the left arm (I had to redraw the forearm, I used cvs terry bogard as reference)

I actually like this CVS styled Takuma, it's a fresh spin to the character's sprite itself, I've seen a ton of vanilla Takumas out there.

I like more the old Takuma, this is is not very good. The first have more details in face. Is more acceptable for Takuma, considering your old age (50+)

I see but if you read the cvs manual by Marancv mugen it espressely says the ratio from kof to cvs sprites is of 110%  for the width and 100% for the heght, hence the height i basically the in cvs styla and width is about of 10 perceent wider than kof style. So far i never used this method because i did this manually by growing some part of the char body like arms, feet and face. Now iused this method by scaling the sprites but I'm still not sure if this one is the right method.

now then, I updated the left forearm in the sprite 0,5 to fix the movement of the arm in the whole animation, now the movement is more flowing and natural ( I had to frankenspriting the forearm of the sprite 0,4 in the o,5 to get the correct movement of the arms)

This isn't really an exact science, though. The ratios Marancv listed in that tutorial might work for most characters, but they also might not work for everything; this new Takuma stance really does look a bit too wide to me, in a way that doesn't look very CvS-like. :-\

Scaling it could simply fix that problem I think.
