This is my version of Marx. Instead of being a boss character like most of his apperances, he's a regular character (since he did have a playable apperance officially). He is a six-button character with moves mainly taken from his official moveset, although he does have some custom-made moves.

Marx has been updated to v1.0.1, mainly to fix one oversight and change some stuff in some moves.
Here's the changelog:

- Fixed an oversight where the last hit of one of his hypers was somehow blockable when airbone, despite the other hits being unblockable when airbone.
- The cooldown for one of his helper-based specials was lowered, allowing Marx to use his other helper-based moves earlier.
- The superpause for one of his hypers now activates on frame 17 instead of frame 2. For its startup frames, everything else stops and Marx jumps into his ball, and the superpause activates after that.

Another very slight update for Marx has been released, this time to lower the cooldown for one of his hypers to allow him to use his other helper-based moves earlier (yes, that hyper whose cooldown for helper-based moves was lowered is also helper-based).

EDIT: A hotfix has been released to that update to fix an oversight where the projectiles from one of his Specials' light variation disappeared way too early before they could even go off-screen. Sorry about that! ;)

Marx has been updated to v1.1.
Changelog:

- Marx is now able to attack while running.
- Jester Ball Ride and Ball Kick's startup has been lowered.
- Marx's normals push the opponent into further distance.
- Slightly changed some sprites for Laser Shoot.
- Marx is now able to cancel his light and medium normals into specials and hypers.
- Changed the damage dampener.
- The hyper portrait now binds to the screen.
- Shadow Uppercut's pausetime now appears on frame 1, making it easier to connect when Marx goes up.
- Slightly updated the 12th palette.

It's been a week and Marx has been updated to v1.2. :neutral:
Changelog:

- Added a dodge, a power charge and a super jump.
- Marx's crouching strong kick now launches the opponent into the air instead of tripping the opponent.
-- This allows Marx to cancel it into his super jump, allowing for aerial raves.
- Ice Bomb now can be hit and will freeze the opponent if it connects.
- Fixed an oversight where the ball's hit animation was shown for longer if the opponent hit it.
- Removed the damage scaling for helper-based moves because of some problems in simul mode.
- Shadow Uppercut's velocity now activates on frame 4 instead of 3. Also, on frame 13, Marx stops going up before eventually going down.
- Slightly modifed Readme's style.

EDIT: A hotfix was released to fix an issue where Marx could cancel his crouching medium kick multiple times into itself. Sorry about that! ;)

To celebrate Marx's 28th anniversary, he has been updated to v1.3!
Changelog:

- Fixed an oversight where Marx could stand in mid-air if he was hit during Shadow Uppercut's ending frames (when he's falling down).
- Laser Shoot has been renamed to Laser Beam and its ending animation is now a bit transparent. Also, its chip damage is now lower
and it now hits every 5 miliseconds instead of 2.
- Ice Bomb no longer makes the opponent stay in mid-air if they're frozen. Instead, they now fall after being frozen in mid-air.
- Slighty tweaked some of Double Wing Slap's sprites to no longer have missing details.

A small update has been released, updating him to v1.3.5. Only one thing has been changed this time:

- Laser Beam's laser now disappears when Marx is hit during the move.

Just a quick update again:

- Added one more character-specific victory quote.
- Jester Ball Ride's hitbox was made slightly longer.

EDIT: Turns out I was an idiot and I accidentally reuploaded the previous version instead of uploading the new one. This is now fixed. Sorry about that mistake.  ¬_¬

v1.4!

Changelog:
- Added jumping and landing sounds
- Fixed a typo in one of his victory quotes where it said "by ball" instead of "my ball".
- Slightly improved readme style.
- Ice Bomb's range has been made longer.
- Marx now runs backwards instead of hoping backwards
- Added a dash-dance mechanic. To perform it, hold the forward/back key and then press the opposite.
- Laser Beam has been slightly nerfed by making it blockable completely. Also, it is now fully attached to Marx.
- Added one more sound for the taunt.
- Marx's 12th palette is now a configurable palette mode, where Marx gains power in this palette if the palette mode is turned on in the newly-added config file.
- Fixed head.pos and mid.pos positions.

v1.5! New stuff and some more obvious changes.
Changelog:

- Added EX specials.
- Added a hyper background.
- Added a palette selector.
- The 12th palette has been completely changed, now being based on Jevil.
 - As a result, the palette mode has been removed along with the config file.
- Changed the input for hypers to make space for EX specials.

It didn't pass that long after the previous update, but now it's time for v1.6!
Changelog:

- New hitsparks! Specials and hypers have different ones, rather than reusing the ones used for normals.
- Adjusted the A.I.
- Added some more character-specific victory quotes.
- Changed the power requirements and usage of Jester Charge and Shadow Uppercut.
