I know your stage is finished and I'm late to the party, but I have a request.Can you release a version of your stage just like in your 'Day 4' Preview? I think that the version without humans and without skyscrapers has a sort of beautyful tranquility about it.Great job on the stage.

Thanks Pexxer.Here's the first vid of the build, starting to nail down the deltas but it's a tough job and I definitely still have lots to do with those.And here's the little bit of work I've done with the night version of this stage:The night version will be largely devoid of people (because they gotta go home to study to become honor students) but I'll have an animated sky and some lights and stuff.
you remember the original animations the game had, I grew up with the japanese version as a kid, but having some of the chars in the bg screaming barf or some stuff would be awesome, as for deltas, tell me about it....

You mentioned soccer ? Dunno if you know the Nekketsu soccer 2 was released only in japan and its awesome take a look, dunno if someone ripped those. I had a pirate cart as a kid with all the Kunio Kun games, bought it for 2 bucks back in the day,best deal of my life.There's also basketball the music in all of these games is awesome, really hope someone ripped some sprites.The games are awesome as well.
Thanks for the links, ha I actually want to play that basketball game. It's like how basketball should be played - with stacked hoops and violence.But enough about that, just added the final touches to the day stage:I'm gonna take a break and then start working on the night stage which I'll probably throw up even quicker.The last night screenshot actually wasn't properly colored I just threw an orange subtract layer on top of my day mockup and moved some things around, but this time I've colored each layer properly including lighting up some buildings.So the question (of course) is should I add more lighting to the next layer? What more do people want to see? I'm currently scouring the net for a nice moon sprite so there's that.
looks awesome, as for the night version, why not add the light yellow bubble on the lamps, maybe a flying blimp in the sky, my biggest tip is have fun with it.
New StageI don't really have a vision for this stage yet, we'll just have to see where it goes.Also RCR:U was a disappointment to me. Ahh well.
Nah I can't really see it, I can do a train platform but there's a certain aesthetic to the London Underground.
