Trial #1 is right below Adding a sprite to an SFF
Trial #2 is here                  Indexing your sprites
Trial #3 is here             Adding Cropped sprites

Trial #1 Adding a sprite to an sff!
Please specify the trial number you are submitting.
This is the 1st MUGEN training camp mission.
In this thread you will be given a range of tests at various levels of difficulty. This will be a level 1 test. Very simple.
Your objective is to add THE DEMON Ryu sprites I made to the sff. Reupload it, and someone will take a look at it to make sure you did it right. Probably me unless this catches on =p

Here are your sprites.

The .def and .sff can be found here Get both files

You are to add them into Group 270 to unleash THE DEMON
This sprites are not cropped and they already have the palette created.
X axis: 391
Y axis: 323

You will need Fighter Factory

This is only for users that have NEVER messed with making an sff before.
Post if you have any questions.

Future challenges for this topic will be
Adding sprites that are cropped and that do NOT have a palette already made.
Adding Sprites from an animated GIF
More suggestions?

Now unleash THE DEMON inside Ryu!!! :o

If I pass do I make the team coach?

Haha. I want to think of some little prizes. I might make some various stars since that's our current thing for this stuff.

Right now it's just for this game but it can become universal. Think of the ones I make in this board as test runs. There will be more as more of the project is created. It's also to train people so they can help out more! Don't be a useless leecher all your life. Join the MFG Boot Camp!!!!

If it garners a decent amount of interest it could be expanded outside of this sub forum.

You called me for the wrong exercise. I can't work with .sff at all. All I do is play stuff. :ninja:
Is finding MUGEN to be more enjoyable to play when you're not wearing clothes an underrated opinion?

Here's the updated .sff file.
Decided to give it a shot. Although I specified being a beta testing/metagame guy. Lemme know if I did something wrong.

This isn't something any of you guys HAVE to do to be apart of the project. I just thought it could be fun to try to bring some of you into creation just a tiny bit more. The sprites in the test are not actually going to be used in game. It's just for learning purposes. :)

I'll even add some screenshots in a bit. Xan, you don't have a choice!!!! >:-)

Look at rosh! He's the man! I should come up with a score system for this :p like Rosh earned 10 points or something!

The next 2 I remember being interested in a MUGEN training camp!
@Saikoro:
@Djoulz:

All of you get in here and give me 20! Or better yet 270!!!

I would be all over this, but my schedule is kinda crazy as of late, hence my lack of presence for the past two weeks. :doom:
All of your Mugen Portrait needs may be found HERE.

I'd like to report two robots on the MFG forums: One is EXShadow. The other is Saikoro.
There should be a Saikoro plugin for Photoshop.
