Okay I updated the OP
Added stuff people had added in the thread.
Added all of Insanius's random rips that had threads only and not on his site.
Added the Axis info to CVS2 and MVC2 The rest didn't have axis info in the threads. They are in the sprite packs themselves.

I couldn't find the name of the developer for Fuuka Taisen on google so I put it under Doujin

Just a mention: Insanius just ripped characters, not effects, so only mentions that. All the DBFC chars for MUGEN uses or custom FX or the same authors ripped by themselves, but there's no effects ripped or released (at least as open source resources)

In Fight-A-Base and also in Guild Database, the author is Rei no Mono, and yes, it's a doujin game based in Mai-Hime anime (well, it's called "Mai-HiME: Fuuka Taisen"). Also, I think I should move that section into anime since it's a game based on an anime series (self-recordatory BTW)

He did rip the effects. Scroll down and he talks about the fact they are actually textures, and he posts a link to them (and for UNIB/UNIEL) about a post or two down.
Even as textures, most of the FX are there for the characters (like Rentaro's Climax Art flames, or basically all of Shana's flames).

Hello, I would like to know why nobody ripped the sprites of terminator 2 arcade game, and revolution X (arcade / mame) there is very interesting material, and to this day, nobody rips anything from there ... it's weird, someone knows something ?

  • ¡Ni p*ta ni santa! ¡Digo!
If no one has ripped them it may be because:

1) Not a well known/popular game.
2) not a good game.
3) Not interesting game.

One way or another, if you feel it's a game worth having its assets, make a try. Ripping from mame is not that hard. Or comission someone to do it.
Good luck!
I swear there was something cool here!!
