Its based off the Dreamcast port of 98 which was randomly named "KOF 99" for no good reason. Doubly so once the real 99 got an upgrade port for DC.
There was a sig here. Its gone now (thanks photobucket ya fecks)

It wasn't named KOF '99, it was named KOF Dream Match 1999.
SNK thought people could make the difference considering the cover, the way it was named (since it was actually released in 1999) and the fact that '99 EVO came out like around the same time.

Too bad they didn't convince a lot of people.

This seems to be a problem with most screenpack conversions to 1.1 by you and your RoK cronies, but some characters just close MUGEN without warning, no error message provided. So far, this has occurred at the hands of SonSon by RyouWin, and Terry and Sakura by Ikaruga.

Yep, i tested with Ikaruga chars and this happend.
