I have a question regarding the above topic. If I want to offer services and program characters for commission based work:1) Where would I offer the service?2) Is there much work for this type of thing.Trying to make a small second income alongside my full time job so anything helps ($50, $100 ect).Any advice is appreciated. Many Thanks.
I think you can offer here just fine. Usually see commissions for sprites more often which would be in the graphics section. There's always going to be people willing to have characters made, although how many of them are actually willing to pay is a different matter entirely. That said, I recommend you present a portfolio of sorts of your work. I think you got a better shot if people know what to expect from you.
Like already said, the Graphics Section is definitely the place to make your thread.Post some of your portfolio and which style you prefer to work in (i.e. CPS2, CVS, etc.)Also mention your price rates, like per sprite or animation.
I'm not so sure on rates as it's something I've not offered before but I'll only be programming characters not drawing / spriting. Thanks
Oh shit, BlackChaos is back! I used to play your Blanka and Zangief a lot. Karma and Quickfist opened their character commisions thread here - in Mugen Disscusion section. So I suppose this is the right place to do it.

Also welcome back to Mugen man! This link will give you some helpful info that our community guys/artists/freelancers use when they do mugen/art commissions.its a pretty useful & informative guide and it uses real world game industry design/programmer job salaries by country as a comparison/example on what skilled creators/qualified artists etc should/shouldnt be charging etc.https://www.newagemugen.com/t3815-complete-beginners-guide-to-mugen-part-4d-commission-price-guideHope it helps man!
