Just by reading this, I'd much sooner blame it all to TERRIBLE WRITING.

Why did Final Fantasy games have to get so complicated?

Edit: Also all the "Here, Squall states" just reminds me of so much of people on Dragonball Z forums saying stuff like "nonono in chapter 187, Vegeta states this!" when they fight with eachother about characters power levels, or people on Chrono Trigger forums fighting about the entity.

Conjecture from people who think about and overanalyze things that the writers didn't even consider.

Haha, I never realized how poor the NORG plot was until now, neither I ever noticed the faceless Squall shot.
But it's sad to see how much people want this game to be any good.

Faceless squall still creeps me the hell out.

I remember beating that game when it originally came out and seeing that. A fucking nightmare.
