BGM volume limit for stages?

hi guys. it's been a good while since i last configured mugen so please forgive the noobish question. i'm just wondering what the volume limit is for stages in Mugen 1.0, what's the highest and the lowest i can set the music to? thanks!

I think that only applies to WinMugen.
Even then, I'm not sure if it actually did anything back then.  Every time I changed it, the music didn't really sound any louder or quieter.
In Mugen 1.0 and above, the values can be from 0 to 100.

I've tried to max out the sound on songs that are too low to more than 100, and didn't find any change. On songs that are too loud, i noticed it only works sometimes if drastically lower the volume. I was just wondering if 0 is the lowest it can go. When i try for example bgmvolume = -100 it sounds the same as 0, not much of a difference. so it's definitely from 0 to 100, got it. thanks for the feedback.

Yeah I do agree, I find these settings unreliable as well, what I do is bump them up a bit in Audacity.
That's your best bet in my opinion.
