Just watched about 10 minutes of the 2nd sff video. It looks like you are taking sprites that have the correct axis and then adding them to mugen cropped. Why are you cropping the images in this phase? It seems to make you waste more time aligning the sprites. Would it not be faster to bring a sprite in that isn't cropped, set it's axis, then bring in the rest from the animation using the same axis info? For every animation after as well. For release you can crop the sprites but while working on it it seems better to leave them not cropped for easier reference. If I'm mistaken let me know. The character I'm making is my 1st but using my method seemed to create the sff much faster. Loving the tutorial thus far. I didn't even know that was what onionskin did About to watch the next video.EDIT: Since I didn't watch the video beforehand I wasn't aware that you got her sprites from a spritesheet. The next video shows it as well. The sprites looked like they were already aligned correctly as thumbnails. My bad. For some reason I assumed sprite sheets were obsolete I guess. Artmoney has spoiled me... Posted: August 15, 2012, 04:42:32 AMIn your character creation tutorial part 4 can you add a link near the front to skip the AIR part of the tutorial and got to the coding? Or if it's easier just put a note in the comments that the CNS starts at about 30 minutes in. Just a convenience for someone that understands the air part of the creation already.
