Hmm... Actually when I went to test it on my Mugen the adx looped twice and ended... I realise that I havent yet configured my plugins yet, but when I tried the in_cube plugin didnt have a menu popup, but the others did... in_cube is the first plugin listed in my Mugen.cfg so I don't know what I'm doing wrong...

try putting it in the end part and see if it comes up?

Sorry to revive this, but can anyone give me a hint on how to convert MP3/Wavs to this format? everytime i do it, i get some horrible noise "on top" of the actual music.

My wavs are 16bit signed PCM at least, and don't use any bit rate lower than 22050.

For the record:

Creative Soundblaster is the best for ADX; it'll loop stuff and you can maintain maximum hardware acceleration. It also rarely/never glitches in playing ADXs. Too bad mine broke. :(
Realtek/Avance Soundcard is another brand that is good like Creative.
Crystal Media is not too good though. It's one of the soundcards that needs basic acceleration/none. And it still skips.
AD Cadenza is also among the worst. Lots of bad feedback in regards to MUGEN usage.

adxencd.exe wont run on my computer i have XP pro, i click on the adxencd.exe and some window pops up really fash and just disappears? can adxencd.exe run on XP?

the sound of my adx during select time was fine until 4th second when it turns sluzzy ( bad in quality ) . I checked it with my winamp and it did not slur at all but when it plays in mugen it slurs. What should i do? I followed the configplugins steps in the first post. Any guidance?

  • Hello ^_^... I visit MUGEN sometimes :P
To fix that , do the step with the command program in MUGEN , and turning the thread process to above normal WILL fix it , your probably going to say how do you use the command prompts functions like setting dirrectory or stuff , I don't know that either lol , I just use some DC WAV to ADX program , and when doing that , it opens a command prompt with the folder of where that program is located I think , so I had to copy and paste the required things to edit plugin parts , and did the command and it work , you may have to mess with it around , cause when I press the ok button in that plugin options , it said some error and wouldn't let me go to the ADX plugin settings , messing with it around to remove the error , then it will show it , then its all fixed :) ! Now , I noticed that the volume , is kinda low , maybe soon it will get resolved for MUGEN .

Ok, I'm having a problem.  I don't know exactly what to edit IN my BG. (stage)  I've messed with the plugin config and mugen config, but........

.......what a mess.

EDIT:  All it does is skip now.  Can someone explain what a command prompt or whatever is.

Explain how to do this to a computer noob.
GOH: bmc would tell birds that they're broken because they shouldn't air recover.

Honestly though, do i have to do something to my stages?  I added in_cube.

it worked for me, but there is only one thing i need some help,
after i do the "winmugen -configplugins and press ENTER" thing, the plugin configuration menu opens but,
im not very sure what i have to set on: "loopcount", "fade lenght" and "fade delay", plz help
