probably not. i think they are a important feature of the design and they help a lot in defining the volume of her legs.

OK, I would suggest to make them lighter in the lighter area of leg. more fitting to cvs style(s)

to me, arms are ok.
Pretty similar to most CVS girls.

Shade the sprites considering the light source from above. CvS has it from straight above, so the abs shouldn't get light.

you are right. but I believe that this small inconsistency is for the better. without the light and shade game her abs will look flat and boring. I will shade de pelvis tho

So... I worked a lot on the upper body and I am very happy with the results. The legs, however, still bother me a lot. they don't look right. Problem is: I can't figure out what is odd about them.

I am also happy with the shoes and the corset thing.

I think its the line between light and shadow, its too linear, it should be more "broken" have a jisaw effect (if thats a word or technique) it also should be a bit more mmmh lighter, less dark.

Messed with this sprite on my own time. I may have went overboard with subpixel shenanigans but I think this looks really neat. I don't think the loss of detail in the abdomen is that big a deal honestly, especially 'cause this is gonna be in motion.

Ok. so I lost my previous work on the character and had to reestar this week. I'll try to post prettymuch everything here from now on.
Here are the stuff I made today:

(all the hands are placeholders, the shoes and tail are a WIP, etc. This is suposed to be a Diary or a DevLog not a showcase of finished works. critics are welcome tho.)

I made this 4 frames Idle Standing animation just by recoloring and making minor adjustmentes os her original animation:

(making this recoloring process is really fast and I can probably do 2 or three of them per day once I get the momentum back)

I also made a 7 frames animation using Yuris' but in Erina's body:


Here are the two back to back. it looks weird tho. I made it just out of curiosity:
(4 frames animations runs twice and 7 frame animation once)


This is the walking Back animation:
Front leg is a bit skyppy, I'll see if I make a extra sprite later.

I have a new workflow that will speed up things. Also the character lacks Supers, EXs and a MAX, attack, so it wolud be super helpfull to have some help there.
A question I have is: does "The AIR format and standard" lists all animations needed for a proper POTS character?

(I have noticed now that I made her deltoids-biceps separation line way to pronuced)

Could just be me, but I don't think the head issue is something that can be solved by just reshading the original head. I'll see if I can get one of my buds to come up with a solution, cus it's kinda out of my skill range.
