This engine clone is getting quite stable, but there are still many bugs to fix.

Once the engine is 70% percent stable i would like to port to unmanaged c++.
The reasons are:
1. There is not need more .net framework so it can even run  on windows 98
2. XNA's video driver's are too much. It requieres Pixel Shader 3.0. I have a core dual vista pc and cant run it.
3. unmanaged c++ code is more portable than managed c# code
ect..

What is the licence of this project? zlib?

Thanks

Oh man how I'd love to be able to run it with my shitty onboard. Indeed the video card requirement is ridiculous as my room computer only has a crappy 3 year old onboard without pixel shader. Also, installing a separate framework just to run the game is also pretty :-\.

MUGEN doesn't require either, just load it up and go. It would be great to see something like this.

FrantzX has been kind of inactive lately though, so I don't know when you might get an answer.
