i like the stage but if Los is going to mess with the scaling he should use .5 instead of .3 if you don't go for half the scale the characters look kinda weird.but the stage is pretty cool good job Los.
madness, as you know it\\\'s like gravity... all it takes is a little push

I know the source image and unfortunately that's the best that could be done without upscaling the whole background.
I did some experimenting with scaling and I found that .5 (I think...maybe a little higher) is even a tolerable size for most hit-sparks, but that is up to one's opinion/taste.

But I like the scaling. Unfortunately the hit-sparks don't follow.
I like thee roominess of most of Los' stages.

i agree with everything you say dude, yeah that image has been at mk vs dc site for a long while,i also like stages like this i think it makes the fight look kinda epic i don't know why? it is a shame the projectiles do not change scales, and yeah is up to ones taste its just that if you don't go for the .5 scale the characters look a little choppy

whitenoise, i'll pass that along to los (LTD)

do you know what he could do adjustment wise to keep the scaling he's using, or is it just not possible and the only real way is just to go for the .5 scaling?

It's not possible, unless elecbyte changes something in the new engine that employs a strong interpolation to smooth things out.

Scaling always messes up alignment of fx and in this case it's unfixable as either the stage is way too small or the FX are way too big.

Lose/lose.

And if fucking up the FX because of rescaling wasn't enough, the strange bounds necessary for this stage make projectiles explod before they reach the border of the screen. --;
Same thing happened on TMNT Dojo (and may as well happen on his other stages).

  • WIP: Tons and tons of IKEMEN stages
Lovely idea, poor execution. Better wait until Elecbyte implements a zoom in/out feature for this kinda stuff.
Current release: SF vs MK, fully interactive

Los is still improving and the bounds issues are fixable (at least in the Superman stage).
I haven't had time to download the new ones, but it's a bit refreshing to have the Superman stage pop-up in the middle of an arcade-mode run.
Oddly enough, I started to get used to playing on the scaled stage and felt that the regular stages felt a bit cramped.

Hopefully the zoom feature will help provide the same vibe as Don's stages. If not, they should improve on the scaling option.
